The Unfitting Finale of Nigel Mansell
Nigel Mansell. One of F1's most successful and legendary figures. A career with an endless cycle of iconic moments; from daring overtakes to heartbreaking mishaps. If life was a movie, this story of rags to riches would've ended with Mansell on top of the world. But in reality, 'El Leone' endured a messy, unbefitting end to his saga.
Today we look at the concluding chapters of his tale; the heroics and heartbreak of a long overdue world title, a whirlwind comeback with Williams, a mistimed move to McLaren, and two further comeback rumours, before we tackle the question;
Who, or what, is to blame for the less than satisfactory conclusion to the tale of Nigel Mansell? Was this another case of an F1 champion not knowing when to call time, or were there other factors behind the scenes?

"And F1 fans were shocked to see the lesser spotted phenomenon of the second McLaren still circulating by the end of the first lap" is one of the funniest things I've heard in a while. The whole video is amazing, as per usual :)

Great video. I've been a fan of Nigel Mansell, even though it was a bit before my time when he was at his best years at Ferrari and Williams. Shame that the McLaren journey never worked out for Nigel, I guess when you bite the apple too much, you'll end up disappointed with the outcome. Will you ever cover the story of Michael Schumacher and Ferrari early years one day? Would love to watch that. Anyways, keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to the Senna Lotus video whenever that comes out. 🫡👍

Hi mate, great video, 2nd time watching it.. Pointless fact.... During the late 90s when my father was working as the Accounts Manager for Agfa Gaevert, in that period Agfa were a premium sponsor of Prost from 98-01. I remember the Prost merchandise Dad used to bring home for me, hats, jackets, flags, posters, jumpers, bags, models, magazines, teddys, stationery etc etc. All manner of things. My point is and if my memory serves me, the amount of money Agfa paid Prost as sponsor was to the tune of $15 million a year for 4 years. $60 million over 4 years from one sponsor for a midfield team. Mental.....
