Better than in a real fight. I can see your point but boxing at the end of the day Is a Blood sport. If you can’t take hard sparring you can’t take a fight. Before a fight I don’t recommend hard sparring.

Not everyone gets a concussion when hit, it has to be a huge blow to cause a concussion, then we have individuals who are used to blows eg Mike Tyson, the Klitchsko brothers and others, they have taken so many blows to the head in their lifetime and they never had significant concussions or brain damage. everything depends on the specific type of individual, some are born as boxers, others just want to try and some are not.

Usyk got dropped by Dubois, Ali in his prime will be too much for him and all of Ali's losses came after his exile which was past his prime, if youre talking about Ali's in his prime Usyk wont beat him, i dont think any heavyweight or cruiserweight will be able to beat a prime Ali

If any of these fighters were pitted against Ali, we have to factor in prep time. To be fair, Ali would have to be allowed to study the fighting style of his opponent for a period of time--as opposed to entering a ring having no idea who he's fighting. That could make a big difference

You shouldn’t be pushed from hard sparring if you’re not competing. That’s like telling someone they shouldn’t shoot for a ORM if they aren’t in a powerlifting meet. Just be mindful about frequency and make sure you have a coach who isn’t a dick head. I promise you won’t get CTE or a TBI if you do those 2 things lmao

We have a general rule - hard to the body, soft to the head. It actually works out really well because it helps promote body conditioning and also setting up better instead of just head hunting. Look at most of these hard sparring sessions, it's always just headhunting. That's not a good strategy if you want to get any further than casual sparring anyways. ^I typed before you actually started to discuss it in the video. Which I guess helps reinforce this point further! I prefer it!
