This weeks project has been to modify a larger lathe insert tool to fit into my myford super 7 quick change tool post holder, the idea behind this is it is more rigid then the small hobby ones that fit without modification and also I can get a large selection of inserts to work with

You shouldn't be wearing any sort of glove when operating a machine tool...
we have two road bridges of this type here in NYC over smaller creeks, and the only real flaw of the design to me is the amount of space needed compared to a lift or swing bridge, since you need to move the entire span out of the way for a relatively narrow channel.

The new exhaust looks and sounds better, as for performance it’s hard to tell when you have a whole 8bhp at your disposal 😂

Would be good to see an overhead view of this bridge opening but only possible with a drone I guess.
It would have been better if you got another bit of cable and another plug for the foot pedal so that you could swap from foot to switch for different types of jobs
I don’t do that much welding and the foot pedal works well for the bits I do, never could got on with the finger switch 👍
I had never heard of this unique bridge before. According to the news it's to be closed for a while for essential work
Yes the canal has been dammed and drained under this bridge for essential work to the bridge supports

Did your run well with this exhaust? Would like to fit one to my heritage 125. Would recommend the 16t gear box sprocket.
It’s runs amazing with this system on, I did have a port welded in for the exhaust sensor to still be in use (personal preference) exceptionally well built system 👍

True and the shop would have done but the cost and inconvenience of taking it back means it was not worth it. Plus it made for some content so I was happy 👍
I fully appreciate that. Living in London. Bought a Bluroc heritage125 euro5 locally. Would highly recommend a 16t sprocket. Noticed your fuel tank is very different from mine. ( 4 liters total & almost square) Does the skyteam tank hold the same? Good luck.

My 2012 skyteam dax is off the road, cut out leaving me stranded the other week, new battery, turns over fine but no spark so got a spare coil and cdi to try, fingers crossed as just finished building it up lovely and blinged.

These Myford lathes are now collectors items, its very difficult to find one that is in good condition. My one came with complete milling attachments and feed gearbox. I made myself a quick change tool post and use it almost daily. It's great to see you have restored it. ❤❤

@@Condrasul your English is far better than my German, the exhaust is a custom made 2:1 stainless steel and the foot rests are from a British company called tec bike parts

Alex Duncan lmao no, had a massive high side couple of years ago and just easing back into the flow of track riding. Was held up a lot in traffic all day that day

Alex Duncan hairpin onto start finish at croft. Many operations and steel work later and I’m back riding again
