I'm getting my cake mixes today. Looking forward to the measurements! Any tips for using bigger pans, and did you grease and flour the pans? Total newby here.

@sarahc6234 Depending on the size pan you'll use , the baking time will vary. 1 Strawberry box mix 1/2 cup sour cream 4 eggs 1/2 cup oil 1 cup water 1 pack instant vanilla Pudding For greasing my pans, I mix equal parts of oil, flour, and shortening, then store it in a container. Enjoy. 😊

Do you freeze ur cakes before you decorate them

The only time I freeze my cakes is when I bake them in batches. Then I wrap them in plastic wrap , and freeze. During my decorating process, I only refrigerate the cake . Was this helpful ?😊​@deshasutton86

Thanks for asking and watching.😊 I only refrigerate each cake tiered for a minimum of 2 hours before attempting to stack them. I never freeze my cakes for the stacking process. This is to avoid a drastic temperature change on the cake from the temperature of my freezer to the temperature in my kitchen . This is to avoid excessive sweating of the buttercream .

Thanks for asking. Yes. I used one dowel through the center of all cake tiers . I appreciate your appreciation for the cake design. It was truly a nice cake inside and outside.

The colors are beautiful together. I converted a 1 doz count cupcake box and cut out a section for the cake to be placed into. Some suppliers sell them ready-made, but if you need to get creative, use a cupcakes box and convert it. 🙂
