I use MediaStar MS-R110, I have the same problem, Explain or help me with a link where i can get the right software, and how can i install it on the flash as in i format the flash in FAT32 OR NTFS, or it doesn't matter. coz thats where i have got the problem
Does it matter if the flash is in fat32 format?
Does distance matter in extraview
YES Expecially when you are using DIPLEXER (COMBINER). The COMBINER MUST be close to the dish
Why is mine not stable? It works for sometimes and the secondary will be displaying no communication from the primary decoder. But the primary is working steadily . What could be the issue?
Are you using SMART LNB or DIPLEXER(COMBINER) for the set-up?

Hi. I'm usin explora 1 as primary decoder and hd 4U as secondary xtraview using old smart lnb with 4 unicable slots and 2 universal slots.... But then again there is another dish but with a universal lnb.. I took the cable from the universal lnb in the other dish... and I inserted the cable in the extra view hd 4U decoder and the primary decoder explora 1 is alone in the other dish with a old smart lnb I used a diplexier on the secondary HD 4U decoder.. How is that possible?
Where in the settings do you make this changes?
If you are finding it difficult, Do factory reset and follow STEP ONE TO FIVE

Using a 60cm dish, You can combine 7e, 16e and 28e(Multi tv). You can also combine 28e and 42e(satview
With 90cm dish, You can combine 28e,36e,42e,45e,51e and 68e

How about extra view settings for dstv hd decorder(new small one without RF out) to old zappa(non HD with RF out and in)
It's the same settings with the zapper to zapper setup But make sure the old zapper is your primary decoder
