Lyrics: When I step into the light My arms are open wide When I step into the light My eyes searching wildly Would you not like to be Sitting on top of the world with Your legs hanging free Would you not like to be ok, ok, ok? When I'm walking by the water Splish splash me and you takin a bath When I'm walking by the water Come up through my toes To my ankles To my head To my soul And I'm blown...

Two step play by a portuguese Dave Matthews Band tribute.
The bridge is what compelled me here.
I want this version of this song played at my funeral.
It is reminiscent of EJ Funeral for a Friend.
I don't blame them for extending the bridge so long. It's literally the best in all of modern music.
I'll never forget being there and dancing in the grass as the sun went down😊
I have never been to the gords and Jords haha that's hilarious 😂 but one day
I saw the first version of this in '95 ;- ) my first time at Red Rocks for a concert after YEARs of seeing everyone play there and dreaming of seeing a live show there. FINALLY! went with my best friends, who'd recently moved to Colorado, & I was looking at making the same move....it didn't happen, but I'll never forget that night, that venue, that show and that performance everything was .....Magical.
@RaptorV1USA...Yes, Red Rocks is great. Lived in Colorado all my life until the last couple of years. Many, many RR concerts. Natural good acoustics. And most of the time June/July/August----JUST GREAT OUTDOOR WEATHER!! Quincy Jones, The Carpenters, THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL, Chuck Mangione, many Regge on the Rocks festivals, etc.
So beautiful wow
This song reminds me of when you loose someone but you remember all the good and wild times you had with them. Heart wrenchingly wonderful.
What I wouldn’t give to see one more show with LeRoi and Boyd. DMB is the best but it’s never been the same without those two.
Brings back memories of my best friend Patrick. It's over and you're at peace now.
Thx Andre Guimares. This band is the u no what!
BoydTinsley played the u know what out on this song. I just heard this tonight. Thx YT and thx guys.
so did LeRoi! i appreciate their successors, but there's something magic with the original band
the band has great musicians now... but this is a Fiddling Song
Sitting outside in London cloudy but warm summer afternoon crying tears into my gin and tonic listening to the beautiful masterpiece.
better be a Hendricks ;)
Still amazing...love you guys DMB...
Eat track ever

*The Best...*
Coto Matamoros brought me here
jajajajajaajaj
How does this not have a like, this is great!
Grace has gone happy lol
Best version
Ahhhhhh as soon as it starts you know what version it is... And no matter how many times you've heard it... YOU'RE BLOWN AWAY!!
I was at this show shwasted and I remember starting a hoedown with some random girls by us. Lmao my boss was in a pile of his own puke laid out on the grass and my buddies eyes were WIDE open tripping. Only memory is of swinging around laughing seeing this crazy scene around me. Good Times. Little known fact Coflin passed out after this solo, died and sold his soul to the devil so he could return to Earth and keep playing ;)
*Thumbs way up!!!* ✌
Thank you, Dave at 14:05. It's very faint and much easier to hear on the CD.
Unbelievable. The only one i’ve heard that comes even close is Live Trax Vol. 6 with a stunning Béla Fleck Banjo solo. Absolutely adore this song. Keep the dum... dum... dum... dum, dum, dum (can’t think how else to describe it. Leave me alone, I’m tired!) going in the background and there are so many possibilities with different solos in the foreground. It’s a song made for jamming. Going to see them for the first time in London in 2 weeks time and honestly if they just played this song and extended the jam bit out to 2+ hours I’d be happy!
I just heard the bela fleck solo today live from Hartford ‘97. It blew my mind!
that is the very best version of #41 !!
@9:30 bliss begins... I wanna hear this over and over when I am lying in my grave.. Until then I run! 79 shows and counting!
for me the bliss starts at 3:14
for the the bliss starts at 0:00@@joeswain8195
heard this on DMB radio on sirius and had to come find it - Jeff Coffin melted my face during his solo - unbelievable..... love this band so much.
3:44
The absolute best version/individual solos of LIOG. Sadly I’m concerned if we’ll ever hear Boyd lull us again.
Right? I love Boyd solos
Best performance ever, and I seen them 20 times..
Sad. Love Boyd.
Bring back Boyd. This band needs a fiddle player
I was there. I stood with tears running down my face during this song. Speachless.
The Best..
This is good jamming
Hell yea for Scranton. Best versh of this ps
i just can't understand why people say Butch shouldn't play with DMB, he makes them so much better imo
Whoever says that just doesn’t understand
Totally agree. Butch was amazing. Its different than Buddy. Butch is like Roi. Buddy and Jeff are great but the sound of Roi and butch are something different
goodbye Boyd
The horn violin what more just the sax
Such a beautiful song
That fuckin trumpet solo!
Is there any lie in your graves with leroy Solo?
Yea live at red rocks
