Great question. You will need to locate a partner in the United States to assist with this effort. The US purchases half of the worlds food. The financial reward is so great that most suppliers of any size are attacking the market. In order to compete, you will need a presence here and a connection to the market. Who do you currently know that lives and operates in the United States? What avenues and methods can you obtain new connections in the USA? How can your governments export offices assist in your expanding connections? What are you reading and who do you know in Indonesia that is already exporting to the USA? Much success.

Ensure compliance with FDA and NOAA regulations by working with a U.S. import agent to navigate customs and regulatory requirements effectively. Attend seafood industry conferences and webinars to network with potential buyers and industry experts, and leverage LinkedIn to connect with key decision-makers.
