The double-sided tape was confusing for me to figure out. In case it is not mentioned elsewhere, peel off the first protective layer, and place sticky-side down on the plastic part (with other protective layer pointed up). Then, peel off that protective layer, leaving a tape residue. Do this in several spots, for as much coverage as possible. Press and hold firmly when affixing to the wood part.

Boy - it takes a long time to put together such tiny pieces of staging. You would probably be finished by now if every part was a whole lot bigger. haha But it will look good at the end.

I completely felt your frustration. I had such a hard time getting the power button piece attached. The wires were getting in the way, and in order to align the piece under the door, it was pushing up on the side wall and making that come out of place. After so many failed attempts, I finally just glued down the side wall and the power button piece in place because it wasn't staying put otherwise 😂

I saw another person building this. It becomes a pretty gorgeous kit.

pour out some of your super glue on to some wax paper and use a toothpick tip to apply the glue and you want need to release your grip on the item and loose the shape.

Hi Daniel, I just finished up Spaceport. I think I know your problem with performance of the ‘weak’ motor. The pry is the use of the Impresa wood lube. The lube is too viscous or ‘sticky’. I have used both. Wax is much better and gears don’t stick. I bought a wax melting pot and pound of paraffin wax. I brushed all moving parts with wax and my model runs smooth with the supplied motor. I hope this helps. Alan

If you soak your tweezers in acetone you should be able to remove the built up glue to make it easier to work with the small pieces

I ordered 3 of them. Magic forest, fantasy wonderland and magical light. Compared to the 6 BLOCK TOWN houses I am building (4 done so far) this bottle kits are huge. One book here is big as a door there. I need a brake from super tiny 🙃
