Troubleshooting Export Problems in Premiere
Nicely done.
this literally doesn't work. i imported the xml file and nothing happened. there's no file in my premiere pro to use
This is different from the method of general editing programs (Davinci, Premier, Final Cut). General editing programs are not good at this. It seems special to apply slow motion while correcting the quality.
i have a question, why do you use the resize filter ? (and why sharper?)
Didn't mention the app name and what it is nor did you disclose that there was a paywall.
can ya'll recommend converter compatible fror sony a6400?
Why video have name "Russias" but in video Kyiv, Ukraine...
can premier pro do this?
Edges are little bit softer 😕
bad example for slow mo demo
What's better? 30 fps 8K that's made into 60 fps, or 60 FPS 4K that upscaled to 8K? It may not be the same that's ahead for every scenario but it seems worthwhile to explore.
Great, so if I export using the first method and the other party does have the assets contained in the media pool, I suppose the project will still work but with place holders, right?
Is there any way to avoid the subjects looking like they're floating if they're shown from head to toe in the frame?
Feather mask out the blur In the bottom of the frame
Amazing thanks
Is there any drawbacks at all to 24fps to 60fps? Or should I shoot 1080/60 and upscale to 4K?
What computer specs you have ?
Is there a way to keep audio and video tracks of a file linked? for some reason in Premiere they look like independent clips so moving one does not move the other
This was great information, but am I the only one that feels the lens blur when used with this method seems like it's in an incorrect blend mode? Almost like it's overlaying and creating almost a misty look if the effect is cranked up too high.
adding depth map to the clip doesn't do anything to the clip... Despite Depth Map Preview being on..
What does in to out ratio do exactly?
Just want to note that if youve done a bunch of retiming and want to just set this for everything, going to file > project settings and set the same setting there, thatll handle it for everything when you export
I was confused by all the files that are created and dont know how to handle them. Is it normal? Cant I just merge them into one? I find it very stressing if you need to move a clip later. I dont use 2-3 clips per project but 20-30 different thats why I ask
just followed the steps and the result is just buttery smooth
its helped me a lot. thank u
when i add the depth map it comes up grey, not black and white - any idea why?
Short and to the point!!!! Thanks.
do you recommend adding the blur before any corrections or after?
Noted
thank you!
0:55 why not using speed warp (optical flow) instead of expensive topaz ai?
this ai has so many features. so ez to use. if u try u will like it
I just did but my grafic card exploded. Im not kidding, be carefull
Why does Premiere import the videos? I have an issue trying to export DaVinci resolve timelines into Premiere Pro... I know it's a different situation , but I'm desperately trying to find a solution My editor uses Premiere and I use Da Vinci. We both have a hard drive with the exact same footage. I do selections in Da Vinci Resolve and export my timelines for Premiere using XML. The idea is that my editor could import those timelines to finalise the edit in Premiere Pro. The problem is, when the editor imports the XMLs, it creates duplicated footage in the bins and lots of issues. Do you have a solution for this?
Very helpful, Josh. Cheers.
Is there any way to migrate an entire project not only a timeline? Is not working for me, the clips have lost the audio sync.
Amazing
Great, how do u work on timeline after applying changes (speed warp). There is lag.
1:43
thank you. I cant believe how awful Da Vinci is for the end user when the goddamn "export premiere xml" output dumps out video files when all I want is the xml and the video checkbox is unchecked. THIS was what I wanted. but of course its buried in the menu instead of clearly in the UI.
While this is nice and very convenient, is not new as we were able to do this with previous versions using the magic mask. I am pumpted for this upgrade though
Thank you!
Just what I needed. I didn't know it was so CPU intensive though. As an experiment I've just added 45s stretched to 6:30 and it's going to take 4.5 hours on my M1 max, 64GB MBP!
"You dont see ghosting" when somehting really unnatural happening on the edge
It looks very organic and the sharpness is beautiful! I would really like to achieve the same organic appearance and sharpness on the skin. How do you do it? and how they converted it to Arri lut
Have you used diffusion materials?
Very important and helpful video, thanks.
Thanks Josh, All worked except for the credits/text on screen. That showed just as empty windows. Any fixes there???
Thanks for the tutorial, Josh. Short, sweet, and simple.
Bro shot this at city creek.
Great tutorial but Depth Map is not available on the free version. Just ran into that wall. I was able to do everything but it watermarks it. Looks like I need to pay for the upgrade. But I have a good reason now.
Good job. Good info. Thanks. Sub'd
Nice tutorial, but the result looks pretty bad, even worse than what the iPhone does. But it's neat to know that they're working on those features.
