Your planner is absolutely stunning. Did you create it yourself? I have ADHD so planner's don't appeal to me usually. My homeschool AP suggested last week, that I start using one 😂 I've started creating one on canva, but it's taking forever.

I had carpet beetles before. Pest control told me they probably came in with some plants I had recently gotten or a new carpet. I was totally freaked out too. Now, I can recognize them when I see them in the garden. Check windows and curtains for them, they need light and will eventually move towards windows.

Can you share what model your printer is? I recently replaced my HP with an Epson Ecotank, but I think I should have bought at a higher price point. I have a lot of issues with the paper feed when printing larger documents.

I came here looking for a review for our soon to be 5 year old twins (one of which just prayed for God to help her learn to read). BUT I ended up relating to your story so much. Our oldest (9) has always been very academically gifted, and things come so easily for him. Then I found myself tearing up when you talked about the challenges your middle has had, because just this afternoon I held our sobbing middle son (7 yo) because he had looked at his midterm report card before he came home and saw he had a couple of low marks. My heart broke that despite my husband and I trying to emphasize we only want them to give their best, they get the impression that their worth comes down to report cards in school 😢 Thank you for such a thorough review of this program ❤

If you wouldn't have removed breakfast, your youngest would have eaten every blueberry out of what was left....and honestly, I couldn't relate more. 🫐I, as an American, did not know just how big a Kiwi was - I'm with you mama, I'd be a little scared to see one running at me. This was very insightful though. I would love to see the planning process for one of the birds in your study, it felt very intentional and thorough.

I like what you told the children about God knowing when we lie alloy I wrote a song when I was in high school called Jesus Is My Savior I put a line in there that Jesus will always watch you whatever you do that the Lord will always find you out and that's what I wrote in my song so it is good that you are teaching them those values

It a shame there is no New Zealand authors that are on your read aloud or books on New Zealand history in your reading list when there is some great children books that are linked to New Zealand history

Do you celebrate Thanksgiving in NZ? What do you give thanks for? Grouping civilizations is a good idea for younger kids. And Egypt is perfect, for some reason, kids love all the mummy thing. I still remember when my teacher told me how they removed the brains from the corps, what a day 😊

CZcams has notified me of this video about 6 or 7 times today, so maybe this will be of help from an Australian. For a read a loud - I highly recommend the 3 book series (John of the Sirius, John of sydney cove & John and Nanbaree) by Doris Chadwick. They are based on the first fleet. My girls got upset when i had to put them down.

You're doing an amazing job 🥰 Last year I started my then 8 year old on TGTB Language Arts Level 1 because I had the mindset she'd be okay and with an Australian 3rd grade Level. I don't like my girls using technology however I found she breezes through her work easier and obtains more if it's a digital program. I'm grateful that GR has a Language Arts section and I'm able to get her to write with the units, along side using Literacy Planet. My kindred bestie who doesn't homeschool, reminded me that if my daughter had to continue using paper form instead of a chunk of her learning digitally, she may always have been behind and struggle to learn. So I pushed my Ego out of the way and listen to her strengths and go with it. My 10 year old will only use paper form for her schooling. All children are different and it's society that wants us to be the same.

Hi, there. There's nothing wrong with you. Not wanting to leave home for me. I liked leaving the house because when the pandemic hit. We had to be isolated for so long in a way from so many people. And so many friends and family and I think a lot of people now are so used to being alone. And home that it's really not healthy. Um, for you, it's different. You have home schooling next, etc. And you are a parent that takes your children. Places to meet utter. Kids where some home schoolers don't seem to do that with their kids. I mean, my niece doesn't do it with my great-niece. And nephew they don't know any kids at all. They don't know anybody. My needs so consumed with leaving them at home instead of letting them meet utter children. And be used to other people in their life to me. That's debilitating. I wouldn't want to do that to my kids. But you're telling me that you're home schooling since of d*** being around other kids and and having fun with other kids. I have a teenage great-niece. That is out of 14, and I have a almost teenage nephew. Great-nephew. I should say use 11 and they don't know nobody I asked them. Do you play without her kids? Do you do stop with other people? And they're like no. My niece issues them to me. That's wrong. The pandemic has done now. Masking no longer has to be a big issue. And I'm glad that life is somewhat back to normal. Damasking to me was like people being faceless. The Doctor masters me because they really look like they have no face. I didn't scarce me and I'm just glad that I no longer have anxiety as much because. Sedamasking is not a part of our Canadian way now. However, the hospitals and some of those places still have it apparently till the end of March and then I think they're gonna get them out again, but everybody has to vaccines those who want them. My mom and I won my dad was living never got sick. What the virus and we never did since so I don't know what we are doing. But we're doing something anyways. I'm glad that you home school dam. In a way where they teach. Utter kids to do things and that you allow them to be with other kids. Doing things that's really great
