I don’t want to hear it’s because they are wanting money and fame because if this contract is true, then they can stop you EVER achieving this even if you don’t get through. You seem to have massively misunderstood a lot of the contract. I suggest getting a lawyer to look at it to interpret and explain it to you. It's not as simple as saying that they own all of your content and can force you to take any deal.

X factor has been pumping out singers for so long theres a clear trend to how they will end up over the long run. Overall Musical acts from X factor under Syco don't have much longelivity they either fail at their music career (Same Difference, Steve Brookstein, Leon Jackson) or become hyper famous their career seeming bright yet burning out quickly (Little Mix, 5th Harmony, One Direction Leona Lewis etc) and then they move on to bigger and better things (Zayn, Harry) or slowly fade away from that initial widespread success (Cher Lloyd, Leona Lewis). Then there is contestants who manage to last long but not as superstars but still have decent careers like James Arthur.

Anyone who would audition on this show is naive and putting themselves at risk of disappointment and depression. You are saving peoples lives

I don’t know if anyone knows this but in the early years of The Voice, one of the requirements for the show in the old contract is that you must be willing to move to LA before you audition out of your own pocket. You couldn’t travel to your audition and then go back home to wherever you were from like the other talent reality shows. No you gotta move before your audition in front of the coaches. The reason why I know this is because I looked into of the possibility of auditioning for the show back around 2013 and that requirement is what made me decide to not to audition. I am glad to hear that they changed it because 1.) it was ridiculous and 2.) like not everyone who goes on the show to the coaches auditions gets to the next round so if you move to LA just to audition for the show and no coach turns their chair, you’re done and stuck in LA until your lease for your apartment is up. So again I’m glad that they changed this!
