    Great video thankyou!!! I have a rubber squelching sound coming from my solid rear. The sound a pneumatic tyre would make if it was flat. Any ideas what is causing this? Have I aligned it wrong? Look forward to more of your content

    Would a creak mean it can't turn left or right properly?

    • @UrbanMachina
      @UrbanMachina Před 24 dny

      Not necessarily. But if you can't turn properly, it's usually an indication of a steering bearing issue.

    Thanks so much for making this video. My quick 4 quickly got a loose stem (within 60 miles it was hand tight). Inokim support wasn’t great. They missed out scheduled support meeting. Found this video and quickly solved my issue.

    Hi have had my vsett 8 for about 6 months now the handlebar on the left keeps coming loose but on the right hand side is perfect. How do I fix it please

    • @pierrehumbs
      @pierrehumbs Před 14 dny

      I have an Elektro 8 which is identicle, When you fold the each handle bar down for transport there is a hex screw on the inside of the handlebar. adjusting this very slightly will fix the loose handlebar.

    Do you have to adjust the brake handles and the actual brakes? Or it’s already adjusted out of the box

    • @UrbanMachina
      @UrbanMachina Před 24 dny

      We go through a pretty detailed pre-shipping inspection, which includes brake checks, but it's always good practice to ensure that levers are secure before hitting the road. Hope this helps!

  • @JRWilson242
    @JRWilson242 Před 4 měsíci

    You can charge it overnight, its perfectly safe thanks to the specific BMS type. Considering it has a 9 - 11 hour charge time, if users are to charge through the day, they'll barely get to use it. Inokim scooters have all safety features required within the battery to stop overcharging, overheating, imbalance of cells and more.

  • @demonocusmetalocus3558

    It does look easier than some of the other solid tires I've seen in other videos. I would probably still just take it to a shop and pay them to do it

    This is extremely badly made. You have to disassemble half your stepp to replace a fkn headlight. Thanks for the video though. I guess they felt making a light that you could just unplug would have been to easy 😀

    Hey great video just got my vsett 8 I've been trying to get some direct contact from the company asking does the front tire come with slime and the screws do they have Loctite on them. Love your company need more communication?

    • @UrbanMachina
      @UrbanMachina Před 5 měsíci

      The front tires do not come with slime from the factory. Depending on who you purchased it from, it could be slimed from the dealer. We put loctite on essential screws as part of the pre-sale prep. Hope this helps!

    What is the special wrench that tightened the large bolt at the 1:00 mark. I think I have that issue

    • @spikesvideos
      @spikesvideos Před 5 měsíci

      i have the same issue, a lot of play, i tighten the nut hes talking about and the steering didnt move at all, so i had to tighten a little more than finger tight. it seems like it should be much tighter, just a design flaw im thinking, give a holler if you find different, thanks! PS, i used 1-1/4 inch adjustable wrench

  • @frankaiello7621
    @frankaiello7621 Před 6 měsíci

    I ended up replacing the hex part (he touches it at 0.48"). The threads were either stripped on the inside or simply defective which made it impossible to tighten. I used an m6 hex coupler purchased from OSH for $4 and a separate m6 bolt. I sawed the head off the bolt and connected the two pieces and replaced the old part. Then I was able to tighten the latch sufficiently which stopped the annoying wobble. Alternative would have been to purchase the upgraded locking latch assembly from Inokim for $120 (currently out of stock) or the older non upgraded latch assembly from ebay for $39.

    I'm thinking about buying this scooter but i'm going to wait until the start of 2024 in case it gets upgrades. I love that it has solid tires unlike my apollo ghost that has had 2 flat tires in the last year so it would be nice to not have to fill them up every week and worry about flats.
