Ultimate DIY Car ‘Tree’
zhlédnutí 22KPřed 9 měsíci
When was the last time you saw someone's cat tree and thought "wow, what a nice piece of furniture". In this video I try to change that by building a cat tree/tower (potato/potatoe) out of one large driftwood piece. I made some mistakes along the way and discovered what electric scissors were. Checkout how I transform a wall in our nursery from plain-jane to trendy plant accent wall with just a couple hours and a staple gun. To accomplish this I’ll use faux boxwood panels off marketplace and Amazon. No Experience Rust Fix

In this video I'll fix a rust spot on my old Audi S4 using a kit from 3M and paint from TouchUpDirect. There are definitely some things I could've done better, or will do different next time, but overall it turned out pretty good for having zero bodywork experience. Lesson learned- don’t be afraid to go out and try something new! Affiliate Links: Rust spot kit: amzn.to/43yacU3

In this video I'll redo our old worn-out backyard steps that lead down to our patio by changing out the wood treads for composite boards, and the wood balusters for flat aluminum ones. DIY Kitchen Fluorescent Light Box Makeover

Many older (and in our case not so old) homes have fluorescent light fixtures in the kitchen that just don't look good. Sorry, I think that’s stupid. Great idea if you’re building the set for a play. Time is valuable. How much time did you waste trying to make “not wood” look like real wood? Experimentation with adhesives? You could have used nails with wood. This is just goofy. I’m sure it probably looks cool in the end, but come on. I made it to the end. “Good from far, but far from good.”

If you don’t like the part where you scraped the stain, you may be able to wrap some thick twine at the base. It may help the cat climb up and an easier place to scratch too :) and it’s relatively quick and easy to do! ☺️👍

Hello! The glue itself won’t eat the foam. However, the aerosol can accelerants are what eat the foam. Try holding it farther away from the foam!

Very clever on your part. Great job. I was thinking of attaching the pink foam boards to an aluminum roof to dampen the sound when it rains. Do you think it would hold? If yes what type of glue would you recommend that I use.

    • @AverageDadChannel

While I can appreciate the process and ingenuity, I have to say, the fact that you're doing this and planning to pass them off as "real wood beams" to trick buyers is not cool. I'm just not a fan of dishonest people.
