This was my problem I just put a new motor in my truck and it started shifting funny and not running right I changed out injectors still running like trash come to find out a bad ground….

I tried and it did work really cheap and go fix thanks

I don’t see the update video you said you would make to let us know if this workaround kept working out for you. I am thinking about attempting this bc I’m having a lot of issues, Stabilitrak, traction ctrl, service suspension system, erratic RPMs, and hard time getting it started, especially in the under 30°F, snow or rain. Stabilitrak, suspension and engine light system warnings is a new development and the starting and RPMs is exacerbated the last 2 weeks. I cleaned the ground and strap and hit them with dielectric grease, as well as the one on left side of the engine kind behind the serpentine belt. And everything was good and it ran like a charm and purred like a kittens for the test ride. Then I went out a couple hours later and it fired right up but did this thing where it was started but the starter was still working like I was turning the key, nvr heard it before! And RPMs shot way up like I was revving the engine. This morning, it started up after a couple key turns and ran pretty good, but engine light was back on. So, I really want to try this hack. Can you let me know if this continues to work for you or if you got rid of it, how long it continued working?

Where did you ground it to and what size was that bolt

I have 2011 Escalade esv with check engine code po300 and stabilitrak light on! Got new spark plugs, intake, solenoid, maf sensor and fuel injector and still nothing fixed it. Only misfire when idle. Does anyone have any idea what could it be?

Genius, thank you, I was having same issues, I bought a grounding cables and grounded my 2009 Yukon Denali in same areas that you show in your video, and my truck is running flawlessly, the service stabilizer trac and traction control lights went off and has been functioning sense, thank you again. 👍🏾 👍🏾

So instead of fighting with the ground strap bolt behind the engine against the firewall ... You went to the firewall to the ground spot on the alternator bracket?

Did anyone have check engine codes when this message would appear. I recently repaired a collapsed lifter in my 08 Sierra I hope it’s not that again as the bitchass mechanic only replaced one

Im getting c0561-71 abs light, reduced engine power, intermittently losing 1st gear.. ill try this but im at a loss. Changed plugs, wires, lifters, coil packs and so much more but still happening.. im going crazy

The parking assist off, stabilizer light, crazy dash activity happens on mine, when I pull the codes I get a punch of ecm tcm bcm lost connection issues on top of it shifting hrs out of first and not going past 30mph. I think it’s something loose cause it started when I hit a pothole immediately then went away I just don’t know where to start

I got a 2009 escalade. Service Stabilitrack/ Service Traction Control System came on. Noticed the car rides differently now and my Tachometer isn’t working, in addition it takes longer than usual to start the car now. Going to try this and switching out the fuses as well as checking my break fluid. Will update.

Did you loose power when the Stability light came on and eventually sputter out and stall? Then take an hour to finally start again? This has happened a few times to my 07 Escalade. Cleaned my grounds tonight and checked the brake fluid as I heard on another vid might help.
