      Watch film. Look at receivers route distribution, and formation tendencies (what teams run or throw in certain formations) watch receivers/Tight Ends/Offensive tackles and get in a habit of reading their individual tendencies. To be a good DB you have to be very tactical. (Like a special forces soldier or navy seal) you have to be ready and prepared for anything. Key the down and distance as well. When watching defensive film watch the safeties to the backers and then corners that will help you find out the coverage. See if there was a blitzer or not play by play and locate which defender made the play. Do NFL combine drills at least 1 once a week and try to work on your 40 yard dash start at least before every training session or workout. (SPEED, Technique, and IQ) mastering these will help you separate yourself from other defensive players

      You might not be done growing I grew a inch during the junior football season and 2 in the summer before it you just need to work on your skills you can control as a wr and db your strength and speed and reps
