Both pilots were killed and two passengers are in critical condition after a Dassualt Falcon 50 overran runway 19 at Greenville Downtown Airport, SC (KGMU). The corporate jet's cockpit section separated from the fuselage as it came to rest on a road. The cause of the accident is unknown and the investigation is ongoing. On Aug 31, 2018 at around 2130 hours, authorities responded to Wittman Airport for a report of a wanted subject attempting to get clearance. Tower controllers attempted to hold the suspect who then taxied and took off without clearance. The aircraft, a Beech T42A, would later crash in Waupaca County. The pilot suffered serious injuries. On August 23 2018, A North American T-28 Trojan crashed near runway 18 at Anoka Airport after reporting a possible in-flight fire. The pilot, Charles Cook, was reportedly on fire as he emerged from the wreckage. He was last reported in critical condition. Audio: www.liveatc.net

On June 9th 2018, around 1500 EST, an ATP Piper Seminole crashed into two houses before coming to rest in a retention pond. The flight originated from Daytona Beach International (KDAB) and was a local training flight. Both occupants, a student and instructor, unbelievably survived the crash with minor injuries. On May 7th 2018, at around 23:30 CDT, A Piper Cherokee crashed in a North Dallas parking lot after running out of fuel. No injuries were reported and the pilot was the sole occupant on board. The Cherokee reported having a fuel leak and made it about two miles North of Addison Airport (KADS) before running out of fuel. On June 1st 2018, A student pilot completing solo flight time out of John Wayne Airport (KSNA), experienced engine trouble and was forced to make an emergency landing on Hamilton Ave in Huntington, CA.
