Great video!!! I bought the same pump and an almost exact faucet for my Apache Ramada. I was looking at switch options...then I found this video and realized I didn't need one! Good stuff brother, huge thanks!!!
Heck yeah man, enjoy the water pump! A switch is still a good idea. When your water tank runs low the pump kicks on and you either have to pull a wire or let the pump run dry while you fill the tank. I installed a simple on off switch which definitely helps when I'm not using the camper . Happy campin!
Question, what would normal heat range be on the hub. Thanks 🙏🏽
For me it was hard.. harder then installing the front differential... lol
Easier on the old ones.. now on the new ones almost crazy access
Who did ur. Computer ? I want to raise my speed limiter lol
It was just a jet chip. You can get them directly from jet, summitracing, Amazon, a few other places. Definitely added more power!
@@KooshdaakaaGarage thank you good sir
Head gaskets
Hey I was planning on doing the same thing to my 1992 Chevy and I was wondering if 140 amp is too much for my battery or would I have to change any wires?
Or how would I know if my battery can hold up the power?
Hello! Your oem cables will work just fine for 140 amp. I have a buddy that has a 250 amp alternator installed with stock cable and hasn't had any issues over the past several years. That said, the "big 3" cable upgrade is always a good idea, and let it never be said that you can have too many grounds 😁
I would highly recommended that you follow that wire to the GPCM it is only connected by a ring terminal to the module dont leave a live wire just taped up like that youre asking for problems
Thank you for lookin out! I actually connected the wire to a light bulb that provides enough resistance to satisfy the systems check so that my check engine light doesn't turn on 😁🍻 you might run into that video sooner or later if you are researching the subject. Either way, thank you for mentioning that in the comments, I hope it helps other people!
Where can I get the jumper cable ?
Here you go! amzn.to/4ciEb7I
awesome video. im dealing with the same thing. Thanks for sharing. shalom.
Thank you for watching and best of luck with your project! 🍻
Thank you!!!! Spent 15 minutes trying to not mess up a GTO door panel (didn’t have the to)…this worked in 10 seconds. Amazing.
Excellent news!
Did you have problems bleeding the system?
Not really. I hit a patch of dirt road or wet pavement and did a series of controlled braking at 10-20mph to force the air out of the abs unit and into the brake calipers, then bleed them as usual. Took a couple rounds of that to get all the air out.
This video should be sponsored by Suave or Pantene.
Approved 🙋♂️😆
What was ur issue
The hub directly under the sensor rusted to the point the sensor lifted away from the reluctor wheel. To resolve this issue I took a grinder to the hub, knocked it down a bit to restore a strong sensor reading. Also tossed the little metal spacer gasket thing that collects dirt and contributes to the problem. The fix has held to this date! Abs function restored.
Could a bear be close by? Just wondering. ☮️
Always a chance!
Do you know whether this procedure is the same for a California LB7?
I'm not sure if your egr is in the way. But if not, then it should be the same procedure. The fuel pump is located in the same place.
@@KooshdaakaaGarage Thanks much - I'm getting the code for an abnormal fuel regulator problem. Engine sounds fine, though. I clear the code and it will be fine for quite a while. Seems to happen if I start the truck and go down the road without letting it set idling for a couple minutes first. I want to get it changed out, though, before I head up to AK. I appreciate your reply.
@mrpowerchute ah yeah, sounds like you are on the right track. Any chance you have a scan tool that can read desired and actual fuel pressure? That will help determine what the fpr is doing as well. Hey, good news is when you get up yo Alaska, we don't have emissions laws 😁
@KooshdaakaaGarage I'm not sure I have a fancy enough scanner that does that, but it may. I'll need to work on determining whether it does. We don't have emission laws where I am in WI, either. I just want the truck to run correctly. Thanks so much for your help!
Good shit!! Try flipping hand positions so you can avoid muscle imbalance.
Thank you, and good call! I'll start rotating positions 🍻
This is the staff sleeping quarters? Do the mechanics live on the ship?
These are quarters for rent. I'm not sure what the staff quarters look like but there are mechanics who work aboard while out at sea so I imagine they have quarters as well
Great job that helps me I know what to do now same issue for a long while now
Heck yeah man, hope this gets your abs back on working order!
lifters are noisy
Nobody: " ". My lifters: "Yeaaaah buddaaay" "light weight" 🤣💪
I've seen multiple ways of people doing this even working in the fuse box with a relay, but I think I like this setup better it seems much more easy and simple, Subscribed

Hell yeah! These things have exceeded my expectations
So you torqued the spindle nut to 52 lbs, and backed it off a little. I pulled off the hubs, and the seals seemed okay but the bearings were loose and could slide. I didn't have the spindle socket so just tapped it tight with a flathead. I didn't replace the seals like you did, so would the oil sleas slide on by pushing on it?
Hello! Absolutely. If your seal is still good then re installing the seal onto the hub assembly then pushing it back onto the spindle, seating it with maybe a couple taps from the dead blow should get it back in place.
What about oil?? How are the bearings lubricated?
2 ways. Bearings are both in an oil bath from the rear diff gear oil as well as I pack them with grease out of an abundance of caution. You don't "need" to pack them with grease because they are in an oil bath, so no worries if you skip that step.
@@KooshdaakaaGarage Okay yeah, that's what I thought. A couple things with that, when I pulled out the rear axles, they were pretty dirty, if the oil is flowing through there it's sure to get contaminated.. The innermost bearing just seems like it wouldn't get much oil, considering the diff oil has to flow out the differential through the spindle and the outer bearing.
This is awesome
Is this a Toyota part too?
It applies to toyota as well. It has its own board
@@KooshdaakaaGarage I couldn’t find anything. I have a Toyota Highlander I couple only find it could be the motor or the switch. But my Highlander only works on high so does that rule out the motor?
@bermudezeg what year is your highlander? We can look up your replacement motor and see if it has thr speed control module attached to it so that we can determine if your whole unit needs to be replaced or just the speed control module. Or maybe your speed control module is somewhere else?? 🤔
@@KooshdaakaaGarage it’s a 2014. I’ve read it’s integrated in the swiper control switch. But if they work on only high wouldn’t the motor be good?
@@bermudezeg ah yes, my inclination is to agree and say the motor is just fine because it works on the one setting. It's just the control mechanism
What year
This one is a 2001
Thanks for the tip brother, I needed it!
Thank you for watching! 🍻
I was looking in the store the other day. I have question about the lb7 hat. One is a trucker hat and the other lb7 hat says snap back. Is the snap back lb7 hat a stretch fit? Because in the pictures it looks like it is. I want to get the lb7 hat if it is a stretch fit. I'm not a fan of snap back hats.
whats the torque specs.
Upper Control arm and wheel bearing.. cv boot looks good not leaking grease and same as ball joint.. i need my cv joint replaced as going down the road it shakes.. i thought on my car it was flex disks and carrier bearing but turns out cv joint can make it shake too.. plus mine had grease coming out the boot.. im lucky to be home as it made it home and next day i tried to drive and it shakes which it popped 3 pops but doesnt pop much on mine it shakes the car alot though snd makes a metal to metal bearing noise. I pray its cv joint and not wheel bearing.. mechanic said seems like its the cv joint when he drove it and listened to it. Praying its fixed Friday or Saturday
Yeah well probably been leaking since factory installation
A good piece of advice for getting that driveshaft cold for the new bearing, take a can of keyboard duster, hold the can upside down and spray the driveshaft. I'll save you the science because I'm lazy but it will cause only the liquid to spray out of the can causing the driveshaft to instantly freeze. Be careful as you can get frost bite and dont breathe it in.
Ah man, yeah that's a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion!
Ha my name lol hahahahaha my sons account
How did you clean the heads and did you get em machined??
I block sanded then used brake clean and compressed air.
@@KooshdaakaaGarage how’s the gaskets holding up to this day?
@@KooshdaakaaGarage should I deal with the turbo well I have both heads off?
@WaterMelonBro2.0 100%! The whole job is holding up well to this day. Getting ready to go on a 6 week overlanding trip in ole Pig, again this summer. The second one since I did this job
@WaterMelonBro2.0 you know, if it's in good shape and has been rebuilt recently then I'd probably leave it unless you plan to port & polish and upgrade the wheels. If you aren't sure when the last time it was rebuilt, then I'd go ahead and do that now or swap in an upgraded turbo. It's just so much easier while everything is out of your way.
Nice job teaching the steps to work thru the process. Also, the recap is always a great idea (no matter your audienc). P.S.: The smirk at the end of "Wash your sock, boys!" is soon to be a classic. 😂
Thank you!

Great job Brother 👏 I got a Lmm and @ 140,000 miles I have a egr side intercooler leak and its Whistling @ the boot O-ring or plastic pipe cracked old oil dirt on it! Please tell me my Turbo is OK !? Thanks 🤠
I will hold your turbo in my thoughts brudda! Lol, I think you already know you are on borrowed time though 🤣
Ya maybe but I'm going to change out the bottom boot aftermarket and stop the leak and run er! I recently changed the thermostats so she's up to running temp (not low) and I have no check engine on and hopefully boot leak is the sound not the Turbo 😅 Thanks Bro 🤠
@ronaldbabbitt6318 oh yeah, can almost garentee you are hearing the leak! It's a high pitch whistle? That's what it sounded like both on my truck with my buddies truck.
