So do Grand Cherokees have 9 speeds transmissions? And do you know what they hell you are talking about - also - how many 3.6L Pentastars are out there? I know this as a guy who did rocker rollers/lifters - but I'd almost consider that maintenance - I did it myself which is way cheaper than a shop - but then there is the timing chain vs belt conversation, my cams were fine so only roller rockers and lifters, $350 in parts to do it myself, and as for the oil filler issue - that is because shops over tighten the filter cap, and likely use an impact

My wife has had 4 ES 350's in the past. We drive them until they reach about 100 to 120000 miles. Bullet proof vehicles. Trouble free. Ride like new even after 100000 miles! Right now her 2019 ES 350 has 50k on the odo. just breaking in! Best car on the road. I have owned a BMW 740 L, this car after 40000 miles turned into a money pit. Every time the check engine light came on it was a 1800.00 dollar repair at the dealership. First was fluid leak sensor, 1800.00, next was fuel leak sensor 1800.00, brake job complete 3100.00, I dumped that pos asap. New battery 530.00. I am not poor or rich but I just do not like being screwed!

We bought a used 2017 Cmax energi and couldn’t be happier. It’s been an amazing car. We bought it in 2020 for less than 15k out the door with only 25k miles. It’s at 90k now and zero issues. It’s driven daily and has gone on several road trips. Yeah, the trunk space it’s terrible, but we manage. My biggest gripe is the location of the 12v battery. It is a pain to change.

My 2012 civic has a really bad clear coat, the roof has completely faded, the hood and the trunk area starting to fade. Seen many civics on the road with my same issues.

I inherited a 2010 Prius and it had major issues of burning oil as the engine runs too hot. It causes the EGR to get coated with an oil residue and a lot of other issues related to the burning of the oil. I would stay away from that year.

The 4th gen is the best, period. Just bypass the coolant into the CAT and you’re good. Don’t wait until it fails, that’s how people end up with no coolant and then overheat the engine. Give me a break, your gripe over how the 4th gen looks is ridiculous. The video is about “problems”. That’s all your opinion of looks. Means nothing.

I bought a 2004 new and still drive it. It has 186000 miles on it. It had some issues after 125000 miles but is still a good workhorse. I actually like it better than my brand new Toyota SUV where I find the new tech a bit daunting.

Usually a manufacturer works out kinks 2-3 years after a new model is release and patches all the bugs. I'm really surprised that Chrysler didn't do anything about the rocker arms despite it being a bread and butter engine for them.
