Instead of purchasing 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood would it be reasonable to glue two 1/4" BB plywood's together and then do the cut out? It is difficult buying a small size of 1/2" BB plywood for me. Your plans are very detailed and the English description is excellent. Looking forward to this project.

Hallo, Erst mal riesen Kompliment, es ist sehr gut erklärt. Ich will diese Fräse eigentlich nachbauen und habe mir die Pläne gekauft. Bei dem studieren der Pläne ist mir aber aufgefallen, daß du bei der Z-Achse nur ein Festlager aber kein Loslager benutzt. Habe ich das richtig interpretiert und wenn ja, verursacht das nicht Instabilität und ungenauigkei?
