Hi and welcome to the channel.
Here we like to film historical places as well as places that are pretty or just plain interesting. As the amount of content grows I will endeavour to do a better job of filming as well as interacting with voice over. This channel is NOT an auditing channel and it never will be. I'm just here to show you a unique point of view and things you might just be thinking "What the flock" is that all about.

Burton Dassett Hills & MOD Kineton
Today we have a nice little flight over Burton Dassett and had a sneaky peek into on of the UKs biggest military ammunition storage depot. The hills seem to be the perfect place on a nice day for car enthusiasts to visit with a nice ford Escort RS Turbo to kick us off.

Hs2 staff almost ran me over, twice! Hs2 Greatworth Green tunnel.
zhlédnutí 271Před 21 dnem
This is a video I was asked to do by some of the residents of Greatworth so they could see the utter devastation around thier village. This video was difficult because I was harassed and intimidated heavily and threatened with violence from the HS2 staff lovingly known as goons! They are not Afraid to use their vehicles to intimidate you!

Strategically and purposefully situated in the centre of England to be furthest from coastal invasion it was built for the services of His Majesty’s Ordnance and was used to store and repair small arms and cannon. the-depot.uk/history/
WTF drone test flight
zhlédnutí 45Před měsícem
This is the very first test flight for me and the "WTF Drone" over Woodford Halse on a nice warm summers evening. Much more intesting content to come.
give ,em ,a job a knock there,ll soon cover it all up,would have thought that they would shut the off, the road, and get on doing the next part, seems to a lot of cars in that car pack and not many bears about
Thank you so much for the footage, would it be possible to send us some of the clips🥹x
That’s us girls!🎉🎉
I can understand covering rail tracks to avoid having deep cuttings or where housing development needs to be screened against noise etc. But viewing the drone shots there appears no evidence of either. There has to be a reason!
Stupid shit music.
Wonderful project
It's great to see this section of HS2's progress so thanks for filming. However, you need to accept security is a huge worry for the companies doing the work. Calling them goons is unfair
Doesn’t seem to be much happening, considering the size of the project.
Still spending billions though . . .
In a few years time you won't even know that the railway is there. Awesome engineering.
This is why i love Documenting the progress so in ten years time we can see the difference. Nature always finds a way to reclaim and adapt, just take a look at the Great Central Railway that once ran through Woodford Halse, it truly beautiful and a Sanctuary for wildlife.
Also the reason it is massively over budget and the north of England is missing out, total travesty the over engineering of this section, a plain embankment would have been perfectly fine through this section…it needed stronger project management to say no, all the other railways round here are visible, this one is going to be as well
@@gorgu08 I totally agree with you, this should be a cutting and not some over inflated, so called "Green" tunnel.
@@gorgu08How could an embankment replace a tunnel ?
HS2 is an environmental disaster of epic proportions & Britain's biggest infrastructure mistake in half a century.
With respect, they’re human beings and it didn’t look like that truck came anywhere near you
I also respect your opinion however, I'll assume that you fly drones and therefore know how absorbed you get when you are concentrating on the flight and you may not be fully aware of what is going on Immediately around you. Well i do so this is why I always have a spotter with me to keep an eye on everything that is going on around me and when that person shouts "watch your back!" It was disruptive as well as a shock to see a vehicle that close. Remember, the camera never dose the situation justice. These videos are also for entertainment! 😉
If your that absorbed then you should park more sensible, no where near a junction and stand off of a road where you are totally safe from passing traffic. It may have been my English grammar and punctuation but I ment you should treat all people with respect and not call them goons just because they are doing their job . Asking a person what they are doing near a major infrastructure build ?? Were you actually on a public highway or private road? I know the through road on the Syresham Bypass road is an adopted highway but I’m unsure of the roads off leading to the building infrastructure. Can you clarify this? If it’s not an adopt highway then it’s private land and you have no right to park there . If it is a highway then could you be commuting an offence of obstruction due to your parking? Is it legal to fly a drone from a public highway? I’m not sure . Many points to consider here before you paint people doing there job as goons !
@@mikebromell3072 Congratulations you are my very first keyboard worrior. If you think I am about to get into all the small details of the situation I was in you are very much mistaken! If you don't lime my content then please by all means scroll on fella and have your crisis some place else. I'll also assume you or someone you care about work for HS2. If that is the case I make no apologies as you are clearly NOT affected in a detrimental way by this discussion and the bulling from the workforce!
What did she want? May go and park there with a controller
She said I was not allowed on that part of the new that has been adopted by the council and highways department. Hs2 do not like anyone getting too close and seeing what they are doing.
I bet they get so much bad press from all the negative Nellie’s that their default is to always be on the defensive. Anyway great video, it’ll be great to see them covering these tunnels back over and landscaping. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed it 👍
I think its in their training to challenge everyone that gets close.
@@WTFdroning and a jobsworth
i don't think the original railway pioneers ruined the country side to this degree
When HS2 is up and running and shown to be a great success, there will be a clamour to extend it. But we need to have a reckoning with certain narrow interests who have added enormous delay and costs to this very necessary project. I would suggest for starters, the BBC, Chris Packham, various MP's, most environmental 'charities' such as the woodland trust.
Will this eventually be filled in/buried and landscaped over.
Yes BUT not as promised!!
thanks 4 this, any chance u might catch the bears working ,or how many parts they put together in a day ,that u know of
Good question. Its like people are reading my mind. I am starting slow and gentle, however, my aim is to start targeting the work force and ALL the failings with voice over explaining what you are seeing in said video. I am a new channel so please stay with me. My content will improve massively over the next few weeks. 👍🫡
Thanks for uploading.
Once they have completed it all, they will have done some re generating of the land. Good video though 😊
This is all part of my process. I want to document the entire impact especially the finished article. Look how the GCR has recovered just 60 year after it closed. Its going to be very interesting and probably another 40 year of content befor its completed 🤣🤣🤣
Let's make no investments in infrastructure and become a sanctuary for unemployed people.
i actually saw all of this last year when i was returning from Los Angles, makes you realise how much damage has been done to the land in question
is that greatworth hall? gosh i didnt realise the railway line was going to run so close to it.
Sadly, yes. Its a total traversity. I have more videos to come of this stretch so i apologise if they upset you 😤
@@WTFdroning Soon be sorted! It will be interesting to see this landscape in a couple of years time and also once the tracks are in. Keep up the good work with the drone flights, very interesting and a great historical record. Looking forward to seeing the line extended to Manchester. It will happen. Many thanks for the video.
@@user-bd4gt4qx9s.. you can kiss goodbye to the line being extended to Manchester. Labour will win the election & in a January interview, Sir Keir Starmer stated they have no plans whatsoever to revive the line, saying .. "it's not possible to do as the Tory government have blown the budget & contracts are going to be cancelled". As for the environment, are you aware that HS2 Ltd have already incurred numerous fines for multiple breaches of environmental issues? Thousands of trees planted along the route in Warwickshire where the vast majority perished due to lack of aftercare. The pollution of streams, rivers & other waterways. The bulldozing of mile upon mile of hedgerows containing nesting birds when they specifically said they'd wait until the nesting season was over .. the list goes on. HS2 is an environmental disaster of epic proportions & Britain's biggest infrastructure mistake in half a century.
In 2 years time it will all be green apart from the trackbed. The big areas appear to be carefully sorted piles of topsoil, subsoil and other excavated material. Obviously this will all be put back. Have a look at the new areas of chalk grassland at the southern end of the Chiltern tunnel. Some good engineering going on.
@@Jamie92208 .. sadly, I don't share your optimism. Are you aware that HS2 Ltd have already incurred numerous fines for multiple breaches of environmental issues? Thousands of trees planted along the route in Warwickshire where the vast majority perished because of a lack of aftercare. The pollution of streams, rivers & other waterways with toxic chemicals. The bulldozing of mile upon mile of hedgerows containing nesting birds when they specifically promised to wait until the nesting season was over .. the list goes on. HS2 is an environmental disaster of epic proportions & Britain's biggest infrastructure mistake in half a century.
It will go down in our history that this is the biggest White Elephant of our time. Even when the government realised it wasn't now needed they didn't have the courage to cancel it. 43% of folks now working from home and the route being shortened. The money would have been better spent on our existing rail network with the addition of some extra Parkway stations. When future generations read about how much of our precious countryside it destroyed; how much of our wildlife was eliminated and how useless the service is, they will wonder, quite rightly, what on earth we were thinking of?
It will go down in our history as "why didn't they build it earlier!?" It will get built to the proper original design, that is, to Manchester. The LNWR West coast line is sinuous and at capacity. This HS2 should have been built 20 years ago. Read some railway history!
Guess u live in a little bubble... and never travel rail, let alone high speed rail at 1 mile < 20 seconds
At least Wales has got the right idea by cancelling all future road projects ;-)))
@@user-bd4gt4qx9s.. you can kiss goodbye to the Northern leg being revived. Labour will win the general election & in a January interview, Sir Keir Starmer stated that they had no intention whatsoever of bringing it back, saying .. "it's not possible to do as the Tory government have blown the budget & contracts are going to be cancelled" which is excellent news as HS2 is an environmental disaster of epic proportions & Britain's biggest infrastructure mistake in half a century.
The current main lines don't have capacity as they used by freight which is a bigger earner to the rail companies this is why delays happen to the normal passenger services
Great video, thanks for taking the effort 👍
Thanks for watching. I plan to cover more of hs2 in this area. FYI, I've had word from hs2 that this bridge will not be completed for a good 12 months due to major defects! Stay tuned for more.🫡
Thanks for the info. Yes would love to see more vids from you on other parts of the route 👍
