We had everything during this long day on the road. First a short nighttime section, then we start o climb up in the mountains, reaching altitutudes of almost 4000m. A drive on the hhigh plateas with wonderful wide open views, on a mix of newly paved road and some dirt roads, with powerful wind gusts towards the end. what ultimate goal of your trip?

Back into the mountains, with a pass at over 2000m. Interesting route, as you chose a different road (Route 78) instead of driving all the way on Route 40. Back in The Andes, after some time in the flatter areas of the continent, and we have a great view of the snowy Belgrano Peak at ovet 6000m, to be seen in the last hour of driving towards Chilecito. Enjoyed also the first mountainous section just after Cordoba, beautiful region too, the mountains start almost directly from the big city. Hi, you reached one of the biggest city in Argentina after a drive through the flat agricultural land west of Buenos Aires. From Mar del Plata you basicaly drove in a big arch around the capital. Rosario is nice especially in the central part, with a beautiful riverside. Flat landscape as far as the eyes can see, seems like a very fertile agricultural land in this part of Argentina. Varied drive, first through the city of Buenos Aires, then on the motorway to La Plata, then a comprehensive exploration of La Plata and finally a peaceful ride through the countryside to San Clemente. Nice ferry ride from Uruguay, arriving in the capital Buenos Aires, back to Argentina after about 1 year. The city looks impressive with all the skyscrapers, thanks for sharing the video, greetings from a road-tripper from Germany!

Nice pleasant ride from Punta del Este to Montevideo and further on to Colonia del Sacramento, good roads on the way, just the bypass of Montevideo is incomplete, you can't bypass the city on motorways and have to drive on small city streets on the western part of the capital. Also interesting taht in all the countries you visited in South America, you have to pay tolls for driving on roads that have no other alternative for local traffic, and they have all an open toll system. I don't know how affordable are the tolls for local population, if they can afford to commute on the toll roads for longer distances. Back to Punta del Este, no wonder why you enjoyed this place and decided to visit the city again. Very nice setting on the ocean, nice beaches and the beautiful peninsula. Pleasant drive through the inland of Uruguay, relatively light traffic, as there are just some small towns on the way. Nice that you took your time to drive also through these regions, where there are not many tourist sites, but it is very interesting to discover the real way of life of the people. After exploring the coast of Uruguay, we go to the inland and discover the green flat landscape, seems like a lot of farming is done there. The roads are mostly good, excepting some sections. Interesting that you return to the brazilian border, exploring the coast of Uruguay. That's the first video from Uruguay that I see, very nice country, looks very developed, enjoyed both the city of Montevideo, the good motorway and the coastal road through the seaside towns. The ocean views were wonderful, also learned that there are some small mountains too in Uruguay, also thought that the country is very flat. You did a detour over Campinas, was nice to see that city too. Very good motorways in this region, probably Sao Paolo has the best infrastructure in Brazil, with many motorways. Also there are many big cities in this region. Back from the coast to the inland, you took the same route to Sao Paolo, and then headed to Sorocaba, a farther suburb of Sao Paolo. A lot of tunnels as you climb through the mountains to the inland. You are now very close to Sao Paolo, the biggest brazilian city. A lot of traffic close to Caraguatatuba, but very enjoyable landscape on the coast. That's definetely one of the most spectacular coastal sections on the whole long brazilian coast. The mountains are rising directly from the ocean, there are wonderful beaches, islands and some nice villages and small towns on the way, and the road has also some tunnels, I guess there are not so many tunnels in the country outside of cities. Nice green landscape on the way, BR-101 is a good road on this section. We are getting closer to Rio, arriving in Vitoria on the spectacular bridge, a nice coastal city, the start of one of the few passenger intercity railway in Brazil, Vitoria - Belo Horizonte. Interesting that you have to make such a long detour around the bay, as there is no fix connection out of Salvador to the south. BR-324 is a nice freeway, in contrast with the BR-101, which is very congested on some spots, as there are many trucks on that road.
