Seventeen years later Cliff was dead in Sweden on September 27th of 1986 he tragically lost his life the tragic bus accident while on tour in Sweden 🇸🇪 he was twenty four years old at the time of his tragic death.

Trauma and agents of misfortune are ridiculously good projects. cliff Should have kept those projects going on the side. and if he would have lived, he could have gone back to those projects. If he ever quit Metallica, I don't see him going past the black album. If that album would have even come to fruition with him in the band but in my mind, If cliff would a lived They wouldn't have ever gone in that direction....., Lars wouldn't have been in the band so there wouldn't have been that much pressure to slow down and do an album like the black album Especially when you have Dave Lombardo in the band.. I think Metallica would have gotten even heavier and more melodic if cliff would have lived. I just don't see him enjoying the direction they went into in the 90s if he couldn't have changed that he would have left the band. And he was a big part of that band As in terms of decision-making and the business side of it, people don't realize that they just think he was some common Burn out, that could play play Immaculate bass. And that's it and write good music. But that's totally wrong , He was very much a part of the business Dealings And decision making and he was willing to do interviews. Honestly. I think he was kind of a leader in the band an James But not Lars or Kirk at that point. I don't think Lars had barely any input in that band Other than to flap his jaws and play drums and he could barely do that. They were on The Verge of booting him out after the master of puppets tour. And I think their choice was going to be Dave Lombardo from slayer. I truly believe they would have kicked Ulrich out of the band. Also I mean, people think that cliff was just some stoner Burnout amazing bass player. There was more to him than that. Much more the reason their music was so good was because of him At that time with his intricate song writing ability Or the influence he had on Kirk and James, they listened to a lot of what he said.. Jason Newstead who came from flotsam and jetsam was a great replacement but honestly I wish they would have gone with Troy McGregory The second bass player from flotsam and Jetsam He was even better than Jason was.. And he went on to become prong's bass player for one album. Prove you're wrong. Which was the pentacle of prong's musical prowess? But anyway I gotta get my hands on trauma and mis fortunes.
