I think this song sang by Leon express better the feeling from a man or for a raw pain whether the one sang by Carpenter touches me more as a woman, painful with regret & sorrow. They both sang beautifully but for different audience. I love both

Leon laid down some great tracks with many great artists. HOWEVER, when he performs alone, he is not all that. I have a bunch of his stuff but it is definitely NOT top shelf. Sorry Leon, you never hit the mark. Nice try tho. !
