interesting that you made no mention of sterilizing or pasteurizing the soil. in my environment, I have to also provide heat to sprout seeds. its cold here in winter.

Mealybugs are the second worst insect.... Mosquitos are the worst, but mealybugs are a reasonable second.

I've become quite good at this type of propagation. Depending on the individual type though. Often I get 94% success rate

Thank you so much for the excellent information you provided on this video. I did not protect my soil from the falling insects... I've been trying for so long to get rid of all kinds of insects, including mealy bugs, but unfortunately, no good results. I wish i could use systemic insecticide, but it is forbinden in Québec. I've tried black soap, Pyrèthrine, diatomée earth, alcohol (for mealy bugs), and even Permethrine repetedly for 2 months but in vain. My infestation is not onty mealy bugs but also fungus gnats and thrips. I am so discouraged that i feel like throwing away all my plants. I don't have the heart to do it. I have over 200...😢 I'll give another try with your good advice. Thank you!

Found this video an hour ago and really appreciated your instruction. Now I know why they keep coming back! I have been hopelessly trying to fight mealy bugs on indoor plants for two plus years, alternated between soap and water, insecticide (3 in 1 spray), and even rubbing alcohol. Couldn't figure out how to get rid of them without throwing my plants away. Thanks very much!!

Have 2 batches but they took a lot more than 3 weeks to germinate. Not a many germinated as expected. Anyway I will stick with your method. Thankyou.

But AMHO they were not very fresh so I bought another seeds (500) in Thailand. For sterilization, I used hydrogen peroxide. Do you know this method ? Salut de France :-)

Hey I'm trying to figure out how to grow these cactus seeds I have, I'm not sure what type of cactus the seeds are from but they are a lot bigger than the seeds you just planted. My question is can I sow the seeds I have the same way as you just showed? I think they might be Prickly pear cactus seeds? I'm not sure! Great video though thanks!💚🌿💯
