I was 14 when I watched their wedding with my Mom on TV. Mom and I adored Princess, Diana. A Beautiful lady with a Kind Heart, she cared about others. I Love that about her. I remember here in Arizona going to our State Capitol to sign the Condolence Book. Each State had these and they were sent to Diana's family. Thank You for sharing this, Nice to see the Spencer home and where the World's Princess was buried.

I don't agree, even if I'm the only one. Her wishes should have been carried out and buried where she wished to be, not where her brother decided. Even in death some man doesn't take her feelings seriously. This is her brother's idea of perfection, it is lonely, she was very much a people person.

I visited Althorpe in 2006 while on a visit to the UK. It was lovely looking across to where her final resting place is and praying she is at peace. Althorpe itself is very grand, stately, lovely to see. The grounds are spectacular. And what a wonderful surprise when we were told Charles Spencer was at the gift shop. I purchased a book on Diana, which Charles signed, a candle and silver pocket mirror. It was a beautiful day.

Diana gave the world to see that a Mother,s true gift is unconditional love. She learned this from being with children and watching them grow like flowers in the garden. She was the Peoples princess she did her duty and service to all that met her. She went to great lengths to show her Heart for her family. Her two sons were her strength and they knew she was the Mother that showed the world the Love and support she gave the nation. The out pouring of tears when she was here and her resting in peace in a lovely garden called Home. Diana did it right and the world feels the peace she gave us to move forward towards the light of God.💌 💌💓💞💗💕🕊

I’m sorry she chose to be buried in the family crypt , they disobeyed her wishes and put heron an island all by herself .very sad her wishes weren’t listened to

Almost 30 years later of her tragic death ! I was born 1961 like her . I miss her so much ! 😢I was 36 like her that tragic year do full of life . She would be 63 now and still strong to enjoy her grandchildren. 5 babies that would have adore her so much !

This upset me so much, because she was someone who hated being on her own and he puts her on an island which nobody can even get to. Yes it’s a beautiful but a sad place and she was a happy beautiful woman.

I understand when a person dies it probably doesn't matter where they are buried or if cremated. It just seems to me Princess Diana's resting place is so lonely. She was a lonely person. Maybe she should have been buried closer to family?

Who can forget that fateful day or where they were when they heard the tragic news? My current employer is a wealthy woman who is an Anglophile and she went once to this place and by chance she and her friend met Charles Spencer. She said he was very nice. Anyhow, she somehow managed to buy a few artifacts from the Spencer estate that were being sold and brought them back to America. Whenever I look at them, I always wonder am I looking at candlesticks that Diana looked at when she was small? Thank you for this little visit.🇬🇧🇺🇸
