A journey through various events including DIY, outdoor adventures & vlog.
My hope is that when you come across my urban survival adventures and by that, I could mean everyday life at home or abroad, from fixing a broken urban survival tool such as a door knob or possibly roaming with a backpack to survive a post apocalyptic disaster within city limits, hah.
That you will find something useful or entertaining, as I enjoy learning from and seeing others as much the same way here on CZcams or anywhere else.

How to Tarp a Roof Dormer
zhlédnutí 3,3KPřed 7 lety
This is how I covered my roof that's been leaking. This plastic and method lasted 6 months solid and kept us dry until high micro busts winds came (35-40mph) and tore it up, just after that though work began on the the new roof a few days later. Adjust the Mil thickness for your wind area. I'm not able to get a new roof until the end of spring or the beginning of summer so this cover I designed...

How to unclog a toilet without a plunger.
zhlédnutí 16KPřed 9 lety
This is a quick fix for the common toilet paper clog. No tools required, just using water pressure. Sometimes this will work, other times it will not. This trick will save you when you are a guest at someones home who has no plunger. Keep in mind here that this is not going to work if you have flushed a football or softball sized wad!
Great idea
Man the last tip with the tube was really good, a shame that i don't got this idea myself lol
This one aint even that bad but hes right that PB is great
Air chisel much faster
"Get these nuts off" ....just hit it with some Hawk Tuah (years from now, no one will know this reference)
Impact chisel hammer drill much better. < 60 sec notch nut and split it off in counter rotation
How do you know it was this component, not the other APPS sensor by the accelarator pedal, or the throttle body position sensor (this code P2138 fires for a mis-corelation between the 2 APPS sensors or the Throttle Body Sensor).
i only wish the cars here in the north east had that little amount of rust on the cat bolts ! Literally thats what they look like after 1 winter.
Thanks for the video bro!
I just smashed my finger yesterday in the car door and it got blue just in two days. My thumb is still hurting and I have tried every single home remedy also have taken Tylenol but still no relief in pain and I have graduation coming up too
I just want to let you know thank you so very much for your video I am going to attempt to take all of your amazing instructions and go remove this starter... Wish me luck!! #womenpower You explained this in a very easy and understanding way and thank you. So I'm going to get my tools, gloves, and confidence and give it a go!!!! I'll let you know how it goes if you would like 🎉😂😊
Deez nutz
Dude you're making a mountain out of a mole hill. Heat the nut red hot with a torch and zip it off with an impact gun. 30 seconds from start to finish.
I soak my nuts in acid. Dont tell my wife.
I had a P2138 .... just watched your video and I did the installation by myself. My mechanic wants to charge me $365. I did it for $200. Good deal. Thank you for sharing...
pro tip: have a strong impact wrench and just snap every bolt off. Not even kidding. get new bolts
That's my go to strategy for carriage bolts on mower spindles
Impact that shit!!! 🙄
Good idea with the tube
Im on about day 76 from your video which by the way is great. Thanks
Warm nuts! UUUMMmmmm !
Does anybody here know why I have to pull the throttle as I let off the clutch to get my bike to actually engage the engine?
This must be exhaust bolt removal for folks in the south.
Cool
Dude, just get some evaporust gel.
Die grinder
Thanks for sharing man, very helpful
orrrrrrr u know u could grind the nut with a dremel and replace the nuts an bolts… or would that be to quick and simple🤷♂️😂😂😂
How is that more quick and simple than just untightening the nut
Even cheaper now. 2007 Accord V6/6Spd, mine just went out after 240k miles. 45 bucks with tax for the part. Thanks for the video, looks easy peasy to do.
Was this old starter you are rebuilding able to turn the engine over?
Still running strong since the rebuild.
same parts for my 2009 accord. Thanks.
You're welcome. 👍
Thats not a lot of rust. A lot of rust is when there's no nut left, just a blob of rusted metal where the nut used to be.
Rust is rust
This whole things jus funny
Lol heat treat these nuts
Cut it flush with grinder then turn it off . Or.. carefully with grinder split the nut by grinding away the siďe
Dealer was going to change me $570. Saved $400 by following your video and doing it myself in less than an hour! Your video was straightforward and professionally done. Thank you!
Wouldn’t heating it up just make it tighter?
In this case, the circumference of the nut increases, hence the diameter increases. Even in cases where it does get tighter, e.g. a steel bolt in a aluminum fixture, it can still work because it still breaks the corrosion bond.
High can I have a new Honda CR-V stater please
i used an impact gun on my Subaru
"heat-treat"?
I changed mine and the light came back on a day after any thoughts?
"Get the nuts off" 😆 Okay goodnight, I'm off to bed. Lol
"Heat treat deez nutz" 😳
Nice to know its supposed to look worse before getting better.
Trapped my thumb a couple of days ago at work whilst trying to secure a door that was no longer aligned and during the force to lock it caught my thumb. So so painful and has only just stopped throbbing with pain. It's now black (from the blood) and I can't believe it'll take months to heel!
Thanks for a really detailed video, would it be same for SM-71001(8th Gen Civic) Mitsuba starter too?
All you need to find is a meth addict and a sawsall.
i just used p b blaster and a 1/2 high torque uga duggad it right off
Great napkin trick bro
can you still use it as a regular bike
Great video thank you so much, this is a part of my car I’ve never had to work on before. Ordered the part at an autozone for $169, I’ll be putting it on tomorrow evening when it comes in. Thanks again man
