Back in the 90s in Rotorua, there was a gourmet Burger shop,decade's ahead they were. Venison,Ostrich, the usual Beef,and Chicken. The fish Burgers were huge,talking 4 Fillets in one burger. The public weren't ready for them, if they were around now,they would be very dominant on the scene.

One of the best cheese burgers I've ever tasted is Li'l Abner's cheese burger. I had them in Papatoetoe in the late 70s and in Papakura this year and they taste exactly the same, different decade, different location, different people, same awesome flavour!

I hate hot food i prefer cold rather than hot i hate it im the only one in my family that eat cold food runny fats put me off a food reminds me of a fat belly sweating it bowls off ewww thats why for many many yrs i never liked hot food but i do like hot food as in spices but i dont like hot food as in just came put the oven plus i burn my mouth easily inside throat so yeah cold food I prefer

Thats not breaded at all thats been in the freezer just 2 mins before it was laid in the fryer even that burgar meat looks like it was in the freezer aswell i lnow this because i worked at a pizza restaurant and have seen that just out of the freezer look in the past and that burgar place is selling frozen food for sure the spices That are init to disguise the old stuff i rate it 1/10

First time I had gluten free burger and asked for it without sauce. Ended up with a terribly dry stale bun and the sauce I had asked not to be on the burger was on it. The last time which was recently, I order a normal burger and got a strange tasting and smelling meat. As I’m not a big meat eater I was unsure of what it was. Just figured they had mucked my order up. Didn’t eat the burger in the end. Shake was ok.

To be honest to that reviewer that said no aioli on burger but replace with tomato sauce... That deserves a backhand to the cheeks, what's wrong with that person!. Let's give individual customer a 1 star rating for their lack of taste buds.

I don't get people queuing for new fast food restaurants. Inevitably they walk away saying "It wasn't worth the wait. It was sloppy. It was shit. Why the hype?" Wait a couple of weeks and you'll likely get a better quality experience because the staff aren't run off their feet trying to fill orders at a ridiculous rate. Pssh whatever, each to their own. All said, if it comes to ChCh, I will try. I hope we get In N' Out Burger though. My friend loved it when he was in LA.

Have you tried Blue Rose Cafe on Dominion rd yet? The Palisami pies are fantastic, they also have the regulars as well.

Also Barrack Road Takeaways, their Chefs Special Spicy yellow noodles or Chicken and lemon grass. Bang for buck they are fantastic.

Chicken Big Mac is such a cash grab. Don't mess with the classic yo!! Also - had a Big MacDaddy on the GC - unreal. I would say the quality of the meat was higher.

Third time's the charm, this time without a web address. Try Big J's in Mount Wellington, it is off the beaten path and you'd never find it by accident but they do flaming good burgers. they do have a web site with the usual nz suffix and no I have no affiliation with them as a business just a deep appreciation of their product, I can heartily endorse the Super Steak burger.

McDonalds has really gone down in my estimation over the last year or two. I get the cravings and then almost immediately regret it, it almost tastes stale these days, that and it is no longer fast food, god forbid you should try and order at the counter! Maybe I'm going to the wrong restaurants.

The tenders look like the ones you buy in a Supermarket fridge,the generic type lunch bars sell.

I don't eat because allergic to cayenne and they will fry the regular in the the same as the spicy. Very good chicken none the less. Also, the biscuits usually have a glaze on them. They look like the ones from Church's, which owns Popeyes

im jealous, i havent had a jesters pie in longer than 10 years, unfortunately here in Melbourne, Jesters turned into something called Pie Face and the quality is absolute crap

I went to Murder Burger when they first opened the Dominion Road store (think that was about 12 years ago now) because it was really hyped up. Was majorly let down; the buns were terrible...the texture and flavor, and the meat was super dry, not seasoned and a little charred; I think they used lean beef...and the whole burger was tasteless and acrid. I think theyre scared to add fat...fat to the meat....fat to the bun when grilling it... Also sweet chilli sauce with Chicken Tenders??? They need like ranch...aioli...bbq sauce....honey mustard....something with some body to it; not freaking sweet chilli sauce 😭 The fact they're still as dissapointing after more than a decade I have no idea how theyre still open. It looks like exactly the same Decor; so no wonder its looking a bit run down; could see all the grime in the gaps as well when your camera was pointing at the camera; so seems they dont know how to deep clean their store properly once in a while either. The one on Dominion Road; there is a Burger Fuel directly across the road; its crazy theyre still in business if theyre the same as a decade ago. I can only imagine theyre being kept afloat by being on a road with lots of visitors; so make $$ off first time customers who never go back. One that is overpriced on Uber majorly is Better Burger...their special sauce I took one taste and threw it in the bin...no idea how thats even a thing; and their burgers are more eadible than Murder Burger, but still below average. Thin patties...and again tasteless. Their fries were limp and cooked terribly...the best thing was the shake. When you compare the price at $40 for a burger combo on UberEats its absolutely insane. Have absolutely NO idea how they got so much hype.

As a New Orleanean, I lived close to the original owner AL Copeland.R.I.P. then after his death, the chain basically franchised. I miss the onion rings they used to sell and the fried mushrooms too. Glad to see the restaurant expand outside the USA Have you tried the red beans?

Loving the videos. KFC fries, with a moderate shake of seasoning is usually really good. Hot n spicy needs to be added to the menu year round. Be cool to see a BK vs Carls Jr video. We argue alll the time what is better, for me Carls, Jim Beam Big Angus is a must!
