A lot of company build home elevator with sliding door out here But they are expensive

Too expensive and too extravagant for the common user who needs it! Why the silly double doors? You walk into the closet and disappear? Magic!
It’s too bad they’re so expensive. If they were under 10 grand everyone would have them.
I've seen them starting at about 15k. But I guess it depends on where you live. If you're building, it's less expensive to add an elevator than design a one story home.

This is probably for handicapped people. Not to mention, if you wanted a piece of furniture, what if it fit in your elevator? (Yes I know house elevators usually wont fit something like a bed, but how about a TV, or a cabinet, or a few chairs?)

so floor 1 is the living room/ dining room and floor 2 is a bedroom

The red switch I'm guessing is the alarm in case the elevator gets stuck. The black one could be for the light, or if it has a fan it could control that.
This elevator is using wheelchair,passanger,babycart and service.
