My story is similar to yours, as far as how I ran into Tina. I'm afraid to get formally diagnosed as an adult, but I did ride the short bus for the first two years of grade school. I think why I wasnt able to separate the drug use from the social interaction with her may have been the lack of alcohol, I couldn't tell you. First of all, straight men are not interested in gay men, romantically, or sexually And don't really want to hear the tired old "spectrum" argument. I understand that. Sexuality does exist along on a spectrum. But if a man falls anywhere along that spectrum where he has any interest in guys, he is not straight. He is at the least bi. I know it's a dream for gay men to conquer the straight man, but sorry, it ain't happening. If you conquered him, he wasn't straight. Straight men exist at the end of the spectrum where they like women only. Anything removed from that they move into the bisexual realm on that spectrum. As for romance? Gays? Romantic? Very few. Most fall into the wham bam, thank you, man realm. They'll talk up romance, they'll talk up finding and wanting the right man. But how many do? A good portions of those who claim they have found him you come to find out they have open relationships. Nothing romantic about that. I can see why a straight-ACTING bi guy who is living a "straight" lifestyle might crush on a bi or gay men. Because a part of them already likes men (which means they are not straight). But it's not about crushing. It's about sex. And they know there is zero commitment. It's only about sex. And they know the gay dude will be an easy mark. Simply by strutting up to him and saying 'I'm STRAIGHT!' And that's all it takes for the "straight" man to get what he wants from the gay (or bi) dude. Then the gay dude can run to the internet and tell everyone he slept with a "straight" guy. These "straight" men are not looking for anything romantic. Once they've satiated the gay part of who they are, it's back to the little lady, and his 2.5. kids. Which will bring back the bisexual aspect of who he is. But he is not straight. The spectrum tells us that.

While romantic and sexual attraction can be mutually exclusive, sexual orientation involves either of those components. For example, a guy can be a virgin yet know he is straight be cause he feels romantic attractions. So if a guy crushes on another guy, the guy is either gay or bi.

I have done meth many times. It was impulsive. I wouldn't say I stopped because I'm on it right now. My friends and I have a running joke that at every party we’re at, some straight boy “will go gay” for me or that I “turn them out”.
