Hey just a tip but in the settings you can turn of the flash of explosions so you dont get flashbanged with evry dead ship makes it less painfull to watch :)

If you reduce the colony's stability to zero, its defenses are drastically reduced. you can do this easily if you launch a raid and steal as much food as you can from the colony.

at around 3:44 there are quite a few weapons that do "EMP" damage that will bypass shields. I assume you got hit by a Tachyon lance which hit you like a truck. Atleast in this game if the AI can get a weapon or use some bullshit strategy you are allowed to do the same thing.

Could've easily done this to a 15-20, up to a 30 minute video, if you wanted/had the time. I'm sure you have a lot more to say about it, and the whole "reviewer" meta has shifted more or less to "video-essays on (Title)" so that's what the algorithm pushes *right* now. This is due to "shorts" sometimes now pushing 2 minutes, which is decisively cutting into old-school short-form content's weight in the algo.

Compso is so broken in this game, but luckily it was nerfed in the sequel so that you don't have those broken support effects until very late in the game. While in this game it is weak to effects that knock your AZ vivosaur to the EZ, there is a convenient glitch where, if a vivosaur hits an auto counter vivosaur with a knock back attack, the auto counter cancels the knock back. Your starting vivosaur, spinax, also conveniently has the auto counter ability.

You should try the sequel next, Champions is a better game
