It's not just that he was high/ drunk/ whatever. He would show up late for shows; would barely talk with them; wouldn't even be in the same room as them when they were recording; would snap any time anyone told him anything bad... No one walks of stage raging just because the singer came in late. It ran a lot deeper than that. Also, not all rockstars are constantly on drugs to the point of not being able to function, nor should we expect them to be or accept it as reality that so many are. We already lost so many to overdoses... do you really want more to die?

Not true whatsoever. I love Scott to death but at this point and for many years they were dragging him around like a ball on a chain. This isn't them treating him like crap, they couldn't handle his drug habit, period end of story!

THEY treated HIM like crap? Are we even talking about the same band? He was the one who refused to even sit in the same room with them when they were recording. He was the one who was constantly late for shows. He was the one who disrespected them, the music, and the fans repeatedly. He was the one who acted like he's the only good thing about the band. He was the one who wouldn't talk with them, and apparently didn't even let them have his phone number. I admire these guys' determination and commitment to him, because if I were in their place I would have fired him years before they did, and for far less than what he put them through.
Saw them in 09 or 2010 and it was right when he was starting to fall off the wagon.
At least they don't have to deal with this anymore.

I think they got a karaoke singer ..hes ok but not the writer that scott was..not even close to the showman.. Not remotely..scott wrote better than this dude being broken down and defeated truthfully and looked more fun 3 days b4 he died..prime weiland was untouchable..gutt tries to mimic broken weiland as opposed to prime weiland which is even worse yet...i gave it a shot tbh. I seen the revolution tour..i seen real stp several times..not even close other than the same songs..no more magic..he fucked up sure. But he was special and irreplaceable..

By the time I became a huge STP fan they were no more. Got to see them on their reunion tour though in 2008, saw Weiland with the Wildabouts as well. Both were great shows. I’ve seen them with Gutt twice as well and had a blast at both shows. I’ll agree Weiland was a master and had the crowd eating from his hand from like...’96-‘01 and no one could ever replace him but I think Gutt is a hell of an attempt. Perdida was a great album and completely different from anything STP has ever done. Different strokes though I suppose.

As a musician myself, it's so obvious Scott screwed up not only after Dean's solo, but all throughout this video. Even Robert was looking at him like he was crazy. I also think Dean's aggravation with Scott's drug use played into it as well.
Being a musician “yourself” aided you in reaching that conclusion? Wouldn’t it have been obvious to most anyone familiar with the song?

I've read the book Scott wrote he just sounds like a person that will keep going in circles. It wasn't a broken string. Scott came in too late and that messes up the whole sequence of the song, especially for Dean banging out the chords. If he'd broken a string, he would have either continued to play regardless or rushed to the guitar tech for another guitar. His body language just says "Fuck this, I give up"

No broken string problem, Deleo walked off because Weiland should have come back in at the end of the solo which was at :49 and he didn't come in until :53. Pretty obvious I think.

Ain't no such thing as a "bit lit" it's like being "a bit pregnant" you either are or you're not. Especially on this tour where Dean and Scott were supposed to be sober which was the whole idea and reason behind this reunion. Words may be right but Scott was supposed to come in right at the end of the solo and he missed it by a mile! Scott was awesome! Loved that guy! I wish he could have gotten control of his demons! I don’t think the majority of people can understand how difficult that is for some people! We’re all different! Just wished it didn’t end the way it did for Scott!
