Creating this space to welcome and entertain guests was a journey for many reasons. After over a year of working from home in the darkest corner of the house, I finally used a spare room in our house to create a bright, slightly more modern, and mostly custom home office for my partner Mike. FIERCE 🤩 Cade, you are my new spirit animal 💗
Awesome, I absolutely love what you have done
Maybe you got the following tip allready. After you do the first layer and letting it dry spray the serface realy wet en then sif some portland cement over the surface. This will create a chemical bound between the furst and the second layer. Then let it dray for a few hours en submerge the ball (after taking out the playball) in water. Let it cure for 8 day's.
You are just the most charismatic designer/doer that I have seen on CZcams. You make it look effortless...while you are moving mountains. I love the way you let the process guide you and the final result reflects a depth of consideration that many/most rooms lack. Amazing content.
Thanks so much 😊
Can I use mortar or grout instead of Portland cement for the slurry?
I’m actually not sure. 🤔
Absolutely beautiful! Great video. 😀
I found your video while searching for carpet bag hardware. Your bags are fabulous! I have a similar tapestry. I was told it was from the 60’s. It’s beautiful, and I wouldn’t have dreamt of cutting it up. But I am in my 60s and in the process of downsizing all of my collected, antiques and collectibles. I’m also finding that no one wants them. If I don’t find the right new owner for that tapestry, I know exactly what I’m going to do with it now. Thank you for posting this.
I would have washed it off too. I love that you don’t edit out your mistakes.
Thank you for the inspiration! Just loved how you used the vines for your climbing plants. Your porch is inviting and comfortable without spending lots of money. Looking forward to more inspiration.
Oh how I wish there was a pattern for us not so clever folks to use to make this bag!
What size pump did you use for this? I’m almost finished making mine.
Sorry for the delay. I’m guessing a 500gph pump would suffice. You can’t use a small pump though it should be more than a serenity fountain size. You can adjust flow so bigger is better in this case
Beautiful ❣️
Is all the stuff you used bird safe?
I honestly don’t know, But guessing yes. I watched a robin do a spa day in there the other day. Hope this helps!
Where did you get the hardware?
Tandy Leather company
Hola que hermosas. Me dirias que es el liquido nlanco. Te veo desde argentina. Gracias. Un saludo
Wow! You never cease to amaze! Well done !
😊😊😊
LOVE IT! I was looking for how to made big floralpot like that and the adding of yoga ball just mindblow me :D THANKS! I will deff made this!
Fantastic! Thank you for watching. It’s pretty fun to do!
Hi Cade! Fun, messy project! Had one minor hitch. I flipped my globe over to cover the bottom and didn't put mesh in that spot(error one) I put a thin layer of concrete and left it in the sun to dry... Was such a pretty day... (Error two). Should have remembered my science 101 class! Gas expands in heat and contracts in cold. So my beach ball did what it was supposed to and expanded and cracked the bottom of my globe. Guess my first mistake was not to inflate the ball. That might have helped. End of story, a few messy slathering of concrete and my globe is just fine. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Oh my! What an adventure. I love problem solving amidst making art. Thank you for sharing and I’m so happy you made one! Be so well!
Hello again!😊love this video so much! I share your love of impatiens and coleous!!! They are my summer joys!!! Have you grown brugmansia? I bet you would love them too!! Their scent is beautiful and they grow fast and are sooo dramatic tropical looking!!! What type of caster plant is that with the pretty rosey veins i love it!!! Not seen it before... That was beautiful refreshing walk in your lovely garden! Thank You for sharing!!! I learn so much and am inspired!
How kind of you to share another tropical looking plant! I am definitely going to be on the lookout and saved in my listy! Can’t wait to share the next garden tour it will be neat to see the difference.
Have a great day!
Greetings from California 😊✌️🕊️🌻🌼🌴Ohio is so pretty and 💚 green! Must be all that wonderful rain you get!!! I love love love videos Cade am learning so much! We have also had many encounters with wildlife here... Racoon family under house, possums(so sweet!) Rats, and lots of squirrels (my nemesis!) I've heard that possums eat ticks?! Don't have em here(on our property TG) but that's so good Yes! You answered my ? About swirrley patio, I would've never guessed!!! I too LOVE Gustave Klimt YOU are SOOOOOOOOOO BRILLIANT!!!!Thank you for sharing! You are Blessed with wonderful neighbors love their wall color & your potting cottage is brimming with colorful blooms WOW...Sigh .. Look forward to seeing that MASTERPIECE! BRIGHT BLESSINGS From California 💚🌴🌼🌻🕊️✌️🐛🦋☺️🧡🪴🍀🪄🧹🌲
Thank you so much for sharing!!! All the the critters can be so much but it’s a lot of fun working around them. I think possums do eat ticks and we don’t have money here but they’re coming up north as it gets warmer and more often. I’m currently working on doing the spirals on the sidewalk in front of our house and it looks pretty cool, you’re so kind. Thank you so much for sharing and be so well. 😊
Awesome watching you mix up the grout, cement, and bonding formula it's like a mad scientist meets the creative pottery outlaw. I love your work. You never fail to amaze. I think I'm going to give the towels in the slurry mix a bash. It should make for a lighter pot. I never used the bonding solution in my cement projects so I think I'll add that this time around for the pot I want to make. Great video Mr Cade you just gotta trust the process cement projects take time but the finished product is so worth it in the end.
Oh man it’s so nice to receive such generous feedback 😊. I’m getting more confident with the slurry mixes and it’s always a little improvisational, which makes a quite fun. I loved doing this project for sure. See ya soon and thanks, as always!
LOve this video and I will try it. I always loved French oil jars which were found buried in South Louisiana and they had been in the ground for over 200 years . They were left by the French settlers but if you were to buy one- these original jars are very expens
