Any update on your scar 16 from 10 years ago?

I am currently running a Toolcraft Nickel Boron BCG. So far so good.. Ill pick up a 2nd BCG as a back up.. or just pick up a 2nd bolt from a diff manufacturer just in case.

In all honesty, I do prefer this model over the standard one, if only because of the decocker (although I do find it a bit strange that it pivots outwards when engaged instead of inwards like on most other pistols) - in my opinion, a DA/SA doesn't need a manual safety, a decocker will suffice since that long and heavy DA first shot kind of doubles as a safety.

The KRAM 9.0 spacer helps with the helmet problem plus it pushes the ACOG further back on the gun

You don’t wrap your suppressor ?

A quart of valvoline 20/50 racing oil will last you a decade.

And over gassing your dirty cans is a bitch, you can’t just constantly send rounds down range with a suppressor attached. It’s a cool thing to have for certain situations because it serves a purpose, but tbh nothing is gonna be vital in your rifle setups till later

I don’t understand your issue with it? Loctite the screw and put witness marks. There are parts of the ar15 that can also be issues. Maybe you could even stake it.

$800 for an internal recoil system with short stroke gas piston adjustable gas block, seems like a great deal to me. Sig charges 2k for a similar upper. Primary Weapon System uppers are over 1k. Do o wish it was cheaper? Absolutely, but a SOLGW upper is just a basic mil spec upper without a bcg or charging handle.

As an owner of multiple XCR’s, I’m curious what the “falling off” comment was. I looked to try to find him doing a review of the xcr but couldn’t find any. Someone know what he was talking about?

The XCR is the ACR I want (and have) at home. I like the price of this gun though.

Enjoyed your Professor Phrink voice. I standardized on Brownells Norgon knock offs and Radian 45⁰ ambi with long levers a while ago. Nice long levers, short throw. The only problem is that Radian doesn't include 2 long levers so you need multiple kits or someone to trade with.
