Depending on age in weeks feed appropriate amounts. Do not overfeed.. even though they ask for food after feeding right amount. Over feeding causes digestive issues and you may loose your cockatiel baby. Slightly less feeding is good than over feeding. Good luck

Hey.. If it’s 12 week old then by this time it should be fully independent and eating seeds. If he is eating formula without any problems and ask for it then no harm feeding once in morning and evening. But reduce it to once in evening so he can focus more on seeds rather than waiting for feed.

@jahanbristy9778 You should be worried as by 3 months it’s already have fully grown feathers and it can fly to escape if got the chance.

I never gave anything apart from hand feeding formulas. All hand feeding g formula contains digestive enzymes to support digestion for baby chicks. These are human medicine and not for birds. I will not recommend to use it.

If you are still doing hand feeding then no need to give water separately.

Hey It’s ok even if she doesn’t flap wings. As long as she is eating food is good sign.. try feeding 5ml and give couple of minutes break and feed the rest. Or try feeding less but increase frequency.

Hey.. i never prepared food for parents. Give them mixed seeds.. ample of sunflower seeds separately and egg food. Give veggies once or twice a week. That is it.

Hey Once you see that he is eating sufficient seeds reduce 4 times to 3 times and then in few weeks to 2 times and then stop when he starts rejecting the feed. Good luck.

That is also a good option although it makes no difference. And also it requires lot of efforts.. you need to provide soaked seeds freshly and remove it daily and clean the cage.. but you can try if you have enough time:

I suppose you have not provided them a breeding box and female is on heat to lay eggs that is why she is laying egg in the cage. Separating them may resolve the problem but no guarantee that she will not lay eggs. Female can lay infertile eggs even if you remove male from cage. Best option is let her lay egg and remove them as you see.

Yes, I do it all the time but you have to keep a fake egg so that she keeps incubating it and when you see chick starts picking egg place it back.

You can try increasing 2ml for morning feed and see if it digest it and so on you can increase every time. If not digested then wait until crop is fully empty before 2nd feed and reduce to previous digested quantity.

5 to 7ml for 5 to 6 times a day. Ensure before each feeding that their crop is fully empty. And you may increase or decrease ml or number of feeds based on how it is digesting

You can guess after 3 months based on behaviour but I prefer DNA testing.

Almost 10 week old. At this age they should be eating themselves. If they are not eating themselves then only two times feeding should be given. Morning and evening. And rest of time they should eat seeds and fruits.

Ok. Try only two times and give them plenty of seed mix and fruit and vegetables during day. Reduce feed to once a day in a week time if you see them eating well. All the best.

Check the crop if the crop is full ,even after 3-4 hours then it's a sign of slow digestion you should consider the advice of a vet , or you can give them 2-3 drops of gripe water but again firstly ask it from a vet , mostly when the baby's crop is full or he's in fever they reject food

Definitely, you are not giving them warm food (35-37 degree)
