@25:00 Tony should've revealed his last unknown card as Cabal Therapy resolved

From what I remember from 24 years ago. The pattern rector “combo” revolves around attacking with an unblocked husk and sacing a rector/patterened creature to get Symbiotic Wurm, then sacing the wurm and the tokens to the husk. A total of 9 or 10 creatures making the husk a 20/20 or larger damage. The shapeshifter and bombardment allow for a lot of token generation by having the shapeshifter be a copy of the Symbiotic Wurm. Karmic guild, iridescent drake, and carrion feed allow for some redundancy to the deck.

Am I missing something or does the Treva list have 62 cards in the main deck. Is that by design?

So pumped to see a Sunscape Familiar deck. I think that card is tragically underplayed. Edit: Ok, the only thing cleaner than that foiled out Treva deck is its pilot’s board. If only everyone tapped that cleanly. Mad props.

Why didn't Tony just hard cast Foil game one I wonder? I'm pretty sure he had the mana, seems strange, maybe he wanted opponent to put him on mana leak or something. Ggs tho ❤

Teferi's Response - Counter target spell or ability an opponent controls that targets a land you control. If a permanent’s ability is countered this way, destroy that permanent. Draw two cards.

Game 1 Tony could have actually, facing lethal, Ghastly Demise'ed his Rector and gotten Solitary Confinement. I'm pretty sure he had enough cards to discard to spend a couple turns casting Intuition then Battle of Wits! Great match!

Suicide black used to be my favourite deck when i started playing magic 20+ years ago, but the truth been said, it is actually quite a bad deck, it just fizzles out too fast. Even with a dark ritual turn one, just a single rootwalla was pretty much able to stop the whole horde Btw when perish is cast, the madness player responds by changing the mongrels colour by discarding a rootwalla. That rootwalla should have died to the perish. Not that it mattered too much...

That was great on game 2 when Doug slams the djinn after Tanny has probably removed most removal from the deck

Very pro ribbing or praising people for their aetetic chooses. Despite the pearl clutching about it. It's pre modern. It has a bias toward magics classical looks it's fine people prefer it. No one ever seriously gives people shit. It's all in good fun.

My Bant Threshold deck runs 3 Mystic Enforcer. A very light splash of White so I have good Green Blue mana allows me to run Daze and actually play turn 1 and turn 2 Green Threshold creatures. Also 4 Werebear.

G1 I was holding up plains and swords as much as I could towards the end there, so even if I got hit with a bolt at one life I'd be able to exile my own Akrokma and be in a good position there with Opalescence as the remaining win-con.

Anurid Brushhopper is a 3/4 that you can discard 2 to slow-blink -- you're thinking of Auratog in one of David's other decks
