ARGENTINA,,CSTELLANO PLIS MUY BUEN TRABAJO
i’m trying to understand how you did the high top part. i’m failing at creating my high tops 😊can you share how you measure or cut the tops?
Exquisite work ... Very interesting, how to create the Quill work. I use to make earrings with feathers, and I can just imagine how some people are surprised at the cost. They don't realize the amount of work/knowledge that goes into it.
Great tutorial!!
Love the pop socket! Great tutorial!
Thank you so much! I loved the combination of the visual of the moccs making and the stories. I am curious about this style of mocasines, and would give a try. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom.
I will be weaving my first headband as a gift to a Makah and Snohomish elder for my naming ceremony. Years ago Gram Lillian Pullen of Quileute showed me how to make a beginner's basket. Weaving with cedar is so healing. It has been many years since I have worked with cedar but people keep giving me more! I have cedar that is up to 15 years old. How do you know if the cedar is still good for weaving and when it is not?
hello! would like to know which material the sole is!!! is it leather, too? thank you for the video! ps: i think it is leather, too.
Commercially tanned Cow hide.
@@charlesleblanc6638 thank you!
@@selbst105 No problem ... You could use something softer however. I'm in the process of making a pair of mocs with brain tanned buckskin, but if you don't have that you could purchase some (thick enough) split cow skin, or commercially tanned deer or moose hide if you can find it.
Haich', kah
Thanks, I was gifted some cedar and have never worked with it. I think I will try to make this.
Beautiful work so detailed, a tutorial to watch again and again love the step by step and the reasons to do this
Excelente tutoría, muy lindo el mocasin, hermoso
Thank you for the step by step very detailed tutorial and enjoyed the tale of the owl and the chipmunk
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am Athabaskan from Alaska and have basic beading knowledge and have no teachers so videos like this have helped me so much in learning to further my skill. Thank you so much once again
How many of the neon colors do you use?
this is so cool! thank you.
Your work is so beautiful 😍 Chii miigwech for sharing your knowledge, it's greatly appreciated.
Hi, great video! Where did you get the vinyl backing and stuff felt? :)
Awesome. Gunalcheesh!
I enjoy this tutorial
Did you add a feather? I'm looking for a tutorial
Thank you 😊 where do you buy the big tubes of delicas? I can only find small tubes 😞
That's beautiful 😍, keep up the good work.
What's that flat bead called for the middle of the pop socket?
Cabochon
Thank you. I love it and I love that you added the story. This is how I craft too. It's good for the spirit 💟 I never had anyone to show me this. Now you're my moccasin auntie.
Gorgeous 🪶✊🏾
Time stamps would be helpful for your longer videos. I refer to your explanation for attaching the vinyl and I have to scrub down to get to that part. I always forget.
Great idea! We're new to creating digital content so your feedback is appreciated.
That was absolutely beautiful! I am so glad to have found you!
Hello Whitney, thank u for your video its very helpful.
is Tulip a brand name for the beading needle?
what kind of beads are the edging the black big beads??
I'm avoiding latigo. What did you use for the soles?
I think that is vegetable tanned leather. I noticed it is not as heavy weight as I use which is 8 to 10oz. This looks like 6 to 8 oz vegetable tan leather. Tge thicker tge leather tge more likely to have to pre punch the soles with an awl comming through at an angle. Hard work.
Love the forklore story as well🏹🏹🏹
thank you for this tutorial!! can’t wait to make one for my friend as a thank you gift!
How long did it take you to finish completely?
I want that bead mat Sis!!! OMG!!! Please tell me where I can get one of those! Amazing channel! Great tutorial! I subbed!
