i noticed the kaaran thing as well 😂❤ Oh, and it's definitely not because of the regionality of the character, in fact, in Punjabi, the kaaran waala Na as well as La, as used in marathi word Laavni (the sharper la) are both used very much.

I think the difference of plural you have mentioned is because of the difference between Urdu and hindi, actually Urdu gives you more liberty to use words expressively. For example We can use a word "Khana" in both ways: 1- Mukhtalif aqsaam k khaany 2- Khaano ka Zaiqa acha hota ha. Hopefully you'll understand the difference.

The song gives a bery nostalgic feeling. I love the fact that it was a laid back song (with no rap, thanks god!). Love the mudic, loved both singers vocals (kaavish part is my favourite) I agree with you regarding the singer pronouncing the word 'dhuaan', it felt like he is saying 'dua'. As urdu speaking person I myself (from first listen) didnt get certain part/words the first singer was singing about. I was hoping the song to be longer, especially kaavish part

In Oh Yaara Hanan is a sad person. While no one is noticing his pain. An old lady gave him flower. A simple gesture of Love and care. Thn Kaavish gave him hope that look within ur ownself. U will find peace OH FRIEND In the last scene Hanan is humming Kaavish's verses . Means he has started HOPING again

In Pakistan we commonly use sochon as a plural of soch. In the magical journey mentioned that he wanted a nostalgic feeling and therefore kept the musical elements a bit minimalistic.

The second singer is Jaffar Zaidi from Kavish band. He is the son of Nayara Noor, one of the Pakistan's legendary classical singer. Faslaey from season 9 is a must listen of Kavish. As always a nice and detailed review.

Also the name of the other singer is Jaffer Zaidi, Kavish is the name of his band. If you check out an old Coke studio season you will find him. Faasle was a song...

I didn't think I would ever say this about Coke studio, but this year's music production has been pretty mid. It is not bad at all, but nothing about it is striking. It is pretty much monotonous in the arrangement, with little to no instrumental solos, something which was characteristic of coke studio in the previous seasons. Or maybe it is just me, who might as well listen to a song just for its bassline, paying no heed to the lyrics. If you are planning to do reactions on a bit less popular songs, but rich in musicality, be sure to check out Advaita, Maati Baani, Pakshee.
