    Actually really enjoyed this deck profile! Since I love the digixros mechanic my friends told me to check this deck out! And I'm glad I saw your deck profile! I originally saw the ukkomon package being played in blue flare, and I'm glad I'm seeing it here as it is a really good inclusion as a strategy to rookie rush with xrosing with darkknightmons, etc. I think my only changes I personally would do is swap out the vikemons for megagargomons for more aggression. I think more cases I would be swinging as much as possible to utilize the on deletion triggers. Then if darkknightmon lives a check I can surprise the opponent with megagargomon suspend their board, stop digivolving, block the attacker, and possibly close out the next turn with 2 swings. This is all hypothetical but I tend to pilot the deck with more aggression because of the ukkomon package, raising and swinging. Probably will play 4 pagu's and 1 toko, to fit the strat as well. But yeah I think it's funny we're trying to follow a Twilight theme but Bandai didn't want that LOL. It seems you have a lot of experience with the deck and I hope I can see maybe some gameplay videos with the deck on the new Digimon online platform! I look forward to more darkknightmon! Awesome video can't wait to buy the deck for fun!

Yeah I'm still working out what aces I like in the deck, played at locals last night playing just 1 ace, vikemon helps against stuff like magna but megagargo being a blocker and double attacker is nice too. Loving the ukkomons to help put the pressure on and win games way faster (rip no rush in the deck). @@ShieldedLoL My first ex6 locals went 2-1, only deck change was took out 1 ace for 13th lvl 3, and swapped the ex darkknight for a second original darkknightmon. First round vs ragnaloardmon they have to stay in raising longer than usual or the stack gets de-digivolved and removed. All the new lvl 4 legend arms have 5 play cost so any lvl 5 can be removed with darkknightmon. They can win if they have a good stack into ragna but with ukkos and de-digivolve it seems like they have limited turns to make the big boi. Second round versed mastemon which feels like unwinnable matchup for them. Any gatomon>lvl 5 stack is countered by darkknightmon so they won't blast unless they've hard played the lvl 5. And no matter what inheritables mastemon has, it can be de-digivolved potentially twice in a turn. Free tamers/removal options in security is probably main way could lose, chaos degrade on darkknightmon x is rough. Round 3 versed tyrantbug and this matchup is extremely difficult for darkknightmon as can never de-digivolve their tyrant. Just gotta hope they brick or bring out their stack too early, rush them early with ukkomons, or see removal option. Not sure what would realistically help in this matchup asides from an insane number of options.

    After building a few different variations of Yellow Vaccine atm I have settled on running the Venusmon + Mitamamon lock for the top end and Bulkmon for the aggression. It's super fast and safe. I also decided to run 4 Angewomon Ace and 4 Magnangemon Ace. I've noticed the majority of the time the Overflow doesn't feel too bad and by hard playing either you can keep a level 4 up to Ace Digi and easily go into Venusmon or Mitamamon on the hard played Ace Angel. It allows for a more "go wide" approach and rush down your opponent.

      @KaytimeTCG Před 5 měsíci

      I've seen a lot of lists run 2 ace, so that might be the right answer compared to 1. If u like 3 then totally go for it, the other lillymons aren't that good. I just don't like too much overflow in the deck.

    • @phoenixwright784
      @phoenixwright784 Před 5 měsíci

      @@KaytimeTCG The only rosemon list that I have seen that topped in JP bt 15 format only ran one Lily Ace so you might be fine to keep it as a one of. The issue with Ace digimon is that counter timing happens after the opponent triggers their when attacking effects, which means that counter timing happens after a good 80% of this game's removal triggers. Considering the low dp that a lot of green's lv 4s have means that their probably the easiest for any deck to get rid of before we can blast digivolve into lilymon. That means Lilymon is only ever gonna really hit the board on our turn. in my initial play testing I've actually had a hard time having anything to suspend by the time I reach Rosemon which has made it nearly impossible to use Rosemon's unsuspend effect or trigger ex 1 lilymon's inherit. Based on that, I'd say lily Ace's suspend effect may not even be necessary the majority of the time. So, yeah, I think you're fine to test with one lily Ace and then go from there. I really like lily ace and was super hyped for the card, but so far in my playtesting it's been super underwhelming, sadly.

    • @KaytimeTCG
      @KaytimeTCG Před 5 měsíci

      @@phoenixwright784 100% agree with all of this. Blast evo into lily ace felt much easier in bloomlord, cos as u said if we're ending on a lvl 4 it's either obvious or it is removed before blast timing. It's a shame cos the effect is still nice, but overflow is juat a downside if digivolving regularly.

    • @phoenixwright784
      @phoenixwright784 Před 5 měsíci

      @KaytimeTCG a couple other things I'd like to note: I think our baby triggers when our tamers suspend themselves to trigger their effects. At least according to what I saw on reddit it does, so if that's the case our baby is actually pretty easy to trigger. I run 2 cool boy and between cool boy, bt 14 mimi, and all the extra drawing we do, I don't think the babies that draw when something is suspended is necessary at all. In fact, I've personally found the deck to be susceptible to decking itself out. Hidden potential wasn't ran in the one list that I saw, so it may not be necessary in this deck. Our digivolutions are generally so cheap that hidden potential probably isn't doing us a whole lot. I think bt 13 rosemon can suspend stuff on the opponent's turn so it's probably better than bt 14 rosemon. I kinda think rosemon burst has a place in the deck. The list I saw ran 3 burst, 2 rose x. I kinda wonder if these numbers should be flipped, but burst suspending and stunning the board eccentially for free + burning our opponent's security is really nice in the deck. Rose x is pure control while burst offers both control and aggression.

    • @KaytimeTCG
      @KaytimeTCG Před 5 měsíci

      @@phoenixwright784 wait tanemon works when our tamers are suspended too!? Wow that's way better, I definitely need to check that. What did u take out for 2 cool boy, I'm guessing mem boost and hpd? Oh bt13 and bt14 rosemons both have pros and cons, like u said bt13 is better control, bt14 is better aggressively. So I like bt14 Rose with rosemon x, but if ur running less x than more bt13 rose makes sense. None of them are outright better than the other. Burst mode is still really strong, but without yoshino tamer idk if it's worth it/quartz is easier to use (and I prefer mimi to get more bodies out). But like in the vid, going burst mode route is just as viable in a different way.

    Like the deck profile. But I do wanna add an experience advice. The whole point of playing 2 of a card is to make sure you at least get it at once, not twice. So for example if you play one crimson mode and hit that in a security, you definitely got no other way to get it unless it's blackgrowlmon and that's if you see it in hand and or if your able to even decide if it's necessary to use it just to get crimson mode back. So at the end day i'm a big believer at two of's for reasons like that. To make sure I get the card at least once. The only time I will play one of a card is if it's an option card that I could be spicy with and that's it. But my digimon line looks always have two or more copies just for consistency

    @UberPwner09 Před 6 měsíci

    Some things I've found while fiddling with the poop deck: 1. As a removal option, I've found Ultimate Flare or Trident Arm to be far better than Heaven's Judgement. While I like to run HJ in a lot of my multicolor yellow decks because of its Main effect, the Security effect is very mid, as there are a lot more Lvl 6+'s nowadays with 13k DP or more, which isn't even taking into account any inheritables that add DP to the 12k's. There are also more cards now that have protection against DP reduction, so HJ does nothing to them. By contrast, Digimon immune to De-Digivolve are almost unheard of, and De-Digivolve 3 will completely decimate any stack in the game, particularly those that have removal protection or otherwise beneficial inheritables in the top sources, and is _especially_ brutal against newer boss monsters with the new Fortitude or Partition mechanics, as they lose their recursion. Ultimate Flare and Trident Arm also both facilitate EX5 MetalEtemon by putting their Digimon within easy range of his deletion effect on your next turn, while TA in particular does exactly what this deck wants to do, by forcing their weaker Digimon to swing into MetalEtemon or your Sukamon/Etemon "blockers" (with KingEtemon out). 2. I've been trying out Maki Himekawa as an alternative to Training or Memory Boost options, and she's done pretty well. She nabs a 2-color black card on play, which is most of your deck, and lowers digivolution costs of dual black Digimon by 1, which is all of your Digimon aside from PlatinumSukamon and BT14 Etemon. The Training and Memory Boost options give you a lot more memory in one go, but you can only use them once before you have to trash them; Maki, meanwhile, can be useful for longer, grindier games, and if you have 2 of her out, that's basically like being able to use a Defense/Physical Training every single turn, the usefulness of which cannot be understated. I can see why most people would go for the Training cards anyway, since it's faster, but considering that this deck has a very defensive control playstyle, I personally favor something that leans into longevity over quick and dirty. 3. ST15 Kai is easily the best memory Tamer the deck has. The extra 2k DP comes in clutch when your Lv6 Etemons are blocking/redirecting other Lv6's and allow them to win that battle, and the extra draw is absolutely essential to ensure that you don't run out of Sukamon in hand too soon, to play or add to Security. 4. I've also been experimenting with replacing BT11 MetalEtemon with a Lv7 instead. While the former's On Play/Digivolve effect is neat to potentially get you a wide board, he does absolutely nothing afterward for the rest of the game. His effect can also potentially whiff very badly if your topdeck ends up being Lv6 Etemons, Options and/or Tamers and have to end up trashing all of those high value cards. I've personally tried to avoid running too many blind topdeck-trash effects, as although you want as many Sukamons in trash, you have absolutely no way to recycle your Etemons, and you have no way of winning the game if you end up trashing too many of them willy nilly. Also, 11k DP on a Lv6 is an absolute joke and makes removing him way too easy. Instead, I've cycled back and forth between running Omnimon Zwart or Quartzmon. Zwart sets up incredible combos by playing 2 cost 8 or less cards from trash for free - which is basically your entire deck short of the Lv6s - and allows you to do fun stuff like playing KingSuka and EX5 Ete to instantly remove any Digimon from the board, or do something trickier, like playing any combination of (a) PlatinumSuka to protect your Zwart from deletion (assuming he has one of the "delete Suka" protection inheritables) and De-Digivolve 1 an opposing Digimon when it is deleted; (b) BT11 Sukamon for more protection and search; (c) Targetmon to have a Blocker on board (that can recycle himself); (d) BT14 Etemon to have a pseudo-Recovery +1; or (e) KingSukamon just to slow your opponent down by turning a key card into poop for a turn. Then, when Zwart swings, you can bounce back your Lv6 Etemon and Digivolve it right back on top of whatever Lv5 (KingSuka or Etemon), giving you another big beater and proccing EX5 MetalEte all over again. The combo potential of Zwart in this deck is massive. Quartzmon, on the other hand, is preferred if you want to lean heavily into the control playstyle - locking down the board and letting you trash security & swing into suspended Digimon at your leisure. The only downside to the Lv7's is that you're guaranteed to whiff them during _all_ your search effects, so you have to blind draw them to ever see them. If you _do_ have them in hand, however, they're far better than BT11 MetalEte almost 100% of the time.

    • @UberPwner09
      @UberPwner09 Před 6 měsíci

      Oh, something I forgot to mention about Zwart that makes him a better choice than BT11 MetalEtemon: MetalEtemon's effect lets you play any Chuumon, Sukamon, or Etemon that you topdeck, but only with a total cost of 7 or less. Meaning, you can play two Sukamon and/or Chuumon, or one lv5 Etemon, but you can't play 2 Etemon or an Etemon and Sukamon. Additionally, you have no idea what you're going to topdeck, so you can potentially whiff badly, as I mentioned before. With Zwart, the 2 black Digimon you bring back must both be cost 8 or less, but it's not in total, meaning you can play any combination of your lv5 or less Digimon (except for BT14 Etemon), giving you far more options. Plus, since the trash is public knowledge, you know what options you have available and can play exactly the cards you want to play. No leaving it up to random chance.

      1. I put in heavens judgement mainly cos I versed deva deck and I didn't have a good out to fanglongmon. But I definitely agree the black options are very strong, and probably overall better if running black training options 2. I used to run maki back in bt11. I think it's solid choice, but i personally prefer the speed of training options to quickly get into a lvl 6. 3. This and maki makes me wish the deck had a dedicated tamer. Something searchable, play it for free, etc. I totally agree tai is best tamer for the deck atm. 4. I do want to add a lvl 7 to the deck, as u mentioned hardest thing is they'll end up in trash half the time. I feel the points u make about bt11 metaletemon are a reason he's good to digivolve onto, rather than take him out completely. But 2 king ete, 4 ex5 ete, 1? Bt11 is nice ratio. Or do u prefer just 6 lvl 6 etes? Overall, love the suggestions. Hardest thing in this deck is trying to fit everything in

      Changing from black to yellow training is definitely worth consideration. I liked black to use if had no rookie/just egg, and hitting all the chuumons and the platinumsukamons gives more targets than yellow. Hmmm what would be good replacements for x antibodies?

      Which x antibodies? Guilmon x could be replaced with more guilmons, wargrowlmon x could be replaced with 4th copy of the red/purple wargrowlmon, gallantmon x kinda necessary but if u don't have it can just run 6 gallantmon as the 6s (adding I'm second bt13, or one of the older ones like starter deck or ex2).
