Simply fascinating. I would have loved to be there in the front row to enjoy the view. My goodness, how I hear everyone crying and talking about Darwinism. Such volcanoes are opened to the public by the authorities or not, depending on whether there is a danger of a strong eruption and of course the risk always remains. It's better to stay behind the screen, life is dangerous.

I totally understand it. I spent 50 years as a welder, and this kind of heat is fascinating to me. But I am also not a snotbubble, so I'd probably just get close enough for a selfie and then go eat. And remember, the camera does NOT give accurate distance comparison, so most of these shots look much closer than they actually are.
