So the first time I watched this I was blown away on how amazing it was so like 2 days later I bought some snap caps and I started practicing and after about a week ive been rapidly quad loading now I’m about 3 months in and it’s gotten pretty gud the bad thing is though my rem 870 hasn’t been dremeled so every time I go to fast it hits that lip and my top or bottom shells break and I lose control of it, every time I go out the range I just blow people away with it and there like what was that, and I’m 13yrs old and I go against adults I wanted to practice this because of quail and dove hunting cause they are some fast birds and when you have a fast reaction time to reloading it does great for you

He says wipe down all parts of inside of the slide with lube but aren’t you supposed to avoid certain parts like the firing pin channel

Let's all start dry firing our shot guns with snap caps and see how long it takes for the firing pin to shatter.... people never dry fire a gun without a snap cap dummy shell or in a pinch use an already spent shot shell (already previously shot shell or empty shell).

I always lubricate the rails of the firearm before reassembly. Why do it after? Seems like applying lubrication after reassembly would miss the forward half of the frame and slide rails.

Well no, the important thing got you to buy Hoppe’s gun oil $$$ instead of purchasing a quart of mineral oil at Rite Aid- the same thing- and great when a little bit added to 100% cotton flannel rag to wipe down parts during reassembly - before which you called Ruger customer service and they confirmed over the phone : Never oil a gun!

“Put a drop of gun oil on high friction areas” - to which I ask: Where’s the spark plug? Guns are not reciprocating engines. They are tool steel and are designed to run dry. Oiling a gun simply magnetizes grit into a rubbing compound and gravity forces oil into the stock where it rots the wood. Don’t take my word for it. Call Ruger customer service and they will tell you the same thing: NEVER OIL A GUN! 🤠

Just getting into Handguns in Melbourne, Australia Bought a Gen5 as my first... been around guns since I was in my late teens now in early 50's lol finally took up pistols... Do we need to disasemble the firing pin ever for cleaning on the Glock 17 Gen5 >?

Just got through cleaning my o/u shotgun barrels with #9. Had to stop patching and brushing after one hour because I just got tired, not because the barrel was clean. Soaked all my patches and brush. Patch three times with a jag after soaking 15 minutes, patches were all black. Brushed five times, then patched three more times and all patches were black. Repeated. The patches were black to very dark. Repeated. Patches were black to dark again. Cleaned the choke tubes and tube insert area. Ran dry patches and barrel looked OK, so brush again and patches. Patches were black to grey. Dryed the barrels with Barrel Blaster, then lubed and quit. That’s why I watched this video which appears to get a clean barrel after only three patches. It appears that the gun had been previously cleaned before the demo, or only one round was fired through it. Still looking for a way to quickly, thoroughly clean my barrels. This time I cleaned after only 200 rounds, but typically it might be up to 500.
