The best tutorial so far. Most of the videos just told us to right click and click 'inspect'.

Things must have changed because this doesn't work. I get to the point where you right click the link to see in htlm and I do not have that option. I have an option to Copy Link, which I do, but that link loads a blank video screen.

l've found the video url, opened it, but the window is blank (and in firefox you have to shift+ right click to edit it).

Hi there, i;m getting an error when I try to open the .mp4 URL on my browser, error: "error_wrong_ip", I think I cant open the mp4 file directly from my browser and is validating my IP Address....

Maybe Google Chrome has changed their browser slightly since this tutorial was created. Tried videos from 2 sites (including youtube) and this tutorial absolutely did not work.

Hmm. Unfortunately I had no luck. I get this error: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. <Error> <Code>MissingKey</Code> <Message>Missing Key-Pair-Id query parameter or cookie value</Message> </Error> It's a long shot but does anyone know what to do for this? I know the video is going on 7 years now, so some things may have changed.

Was very easy with Chrome for me, not sure if I have an additional program or whatever but soon as I paste the URL I have a download button right underneath the video. But good to know I have another option here, was trying to find programs free online, or ones like Vcatcher but none seem to work, chrome did the trick right away, thank you.

Some videos on wordpress use a plugin videopress which tries to hide the actual extension of the video, example: .....yt-h264medium_mp4_hd_1080p.original.jpg so you need to trim the end upto mp4 and add full stop [example of trimmed] .... qatar_travel_world_cup-ub-1080-v01-yt-h264medium.mp4
