I build this texas ranger clone too. The only thing I changed was the three way switch. I have on the input two caps in serie. One 4n7 and the other 100n. Parralel over the 100N cap a potmeter of 100kOhm. In this way you can cancel the 100n cap more or less and have all the sounds and more from this stompbox. Great playing though,

I have the same guitar and I changed the pickup too with a Teisco en the topnut with a brass-one. Sorry but the way you're playing sounds horrible on this resonator, that's a kind of strat/tele-playing. I use this guitar only for slide and therefor it sounds fantastic.

As an electronics engineer who enjoys music, I found it rather sad to see that the inside of these amps is an LM1875/TDA2050 and a rather small transformer :( I suppose it is only a "practice" size amplifier though.

Are different, the humbucker have 2 coil in series but are very small. This is a sigle coil pickup in series, more output, more warm

There's a master vol, master tone and blender pot for piezo and humbucker. The master vol. It's a push pull pot for split the mini humbucker

Ciao Simone.. Come è ben spiegato nel video, la chitarra originale come arriva a casa è insuonabile.. Poiché l'elettronica è povera, originalmente montava un manico improponibile per la scomodità e due humbucker size P90 entwisle ceramici.. Troppo fangosi, se leggi la descrizione del video capisci tutti gli upgrade che ho fatto.. Se ti fai due conti prendi una jazzmaster fender messicana che in linea di massima non devi fare nulla, metti il Jack e suoni!

Watched several videos of guitars like this, and I’ve got to say I am very tempted either to look for one of my own or have it built just for me. One reason it doesn’t sound exactly like ‘Brian‘s guitar is that it is solid body instead of semi hollow, but semi hollow is not essential.

Thank you for the reminder, @@francescodamico7903. Ultimately after leaving the above comment, I decided to press ahead with my inclination to have one built for me. It has an ash Stratocaster body. My only complaint being that the pickups could be a little hotter. There could come a time in the future when I decide to have them further wound.
@@Shred_The_Weapon of course in your strat pickups are connected in series, like on the red special, and not in parallel, like on a usual strat, i think. Isn't it? But check wich one of your pickups is RWRP, if there's one.
