Dope tag L. That Gang Starr is crazy! I'm originally from Milwaukee and when I would go over to Chicago to dig, I would listen to that rap radio station. The first time I heard Fugees "Killing Me Softly" was when it played on that station. I miss digging in Chi. Big ups to George's Music room, Just Dance,Reckless, Second Hand Tunes, & the old Grammaphone. You went hard on the O.C. That Roy Ayres original is crazy. I've only seen that one in the wild once ever, about 15 years ago. Couldn't afford it. It was a promo for $100. Thanks for inspiring me to do a 2024 rap tag.

Cool video man, I need a copy of PE fear of a black planet. I had it on cassette and CD back in the day , my vinyl collection was stolen back in 96 lost most all my rap . Still working slowly to rebuild . There is just so much to replace and so many I’ve forgotten about. Respect

It's been a while since you've done a video of course but when you do, it is always a heavy pile. Hard to pick just one thing to comment on even. Yeah I would love to own the Roy Clark, original preferably but you don't see that Scorpio either. Big time heat Sea Changes has long been one for me to locate but again, never see it. Same with Midnight Vultures!

The 2eye stereo pressing of Bookends might be the best sounding album in my collection, its shocks me everytime i listen to it.

Wow, I'm buried under those awesome pick ups! I got Elemental as well, and it is indeed a very well engineered album. Interesting choice for that 50th Anniversary of BOTR cover. Looks so much like the cover of "The Best of Three Dog Night"! LOL

Big score on that John Wright find! That is a super rare Prestige grail for sure. Also cool that is is a Chicago artist rather than East Coast. My friend found that and had it on Discogs for $200.

I never knew that Elvin Jones recorded for the Riverside label. Public Image Ltd. is an amazing find , showcasing an amazing band. Drink some wine and enjoy your new treasures!
