You might have an issue with the key it's self then or ariel
how do i make it faster?
Bigger gear on front crank will make it harder to pedal but give you more speed. If it's the motor then you will need to remove control unit from down tube to see max amps, check battery pack will safley output to that then buy a display that's compatible with the control unit so that you can change the max amps. I haven't modified mine but I think this is what I would do if I was to do it.

how can i override my muddy fox electric bike it goes sooo slow?
Given the pedal sensor and display system there should be 2 hacks you can do. Hack (A) continuous assist after one pedal stroke.......this involves the mechanical adjustment of pedal sensor. Hack (B) to derestrict the EU max speed 15.5mph to US 20mph.....this involves the display. Will update when I check this system.
Remember if you hack the assist, you won't get as much mileage on one charge because it's only a 250wh motor & battery. You could run larger volume puncture resistant tyres to increase the range from 700x35c to 700x40. Also get a city style profile tyre instead of off road gravel tyre which is slower

Are you sure the battery isn't removable there is screws at the bottom of the frame. And is a 230w
I'm sure that's for repairs/ replacing. It's not designed to be removed just for charging
