As I remember Psylocke and Betsy had a body swap sort of thing happen. I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. They revealed it in X-Men issues 20-22, I could be wrong. It was when Andy Kubert had taken over as the artist.

I absolutely LOVE the Thing cartoon from the sixties!! Yeah, it was silly but just the right amount of silliness to be entertaining to a little kid from the 80's (I'm old enough to have watched the reruns) like all the Hanna Barbera output from the same era. And when I got older, I just noticed that the skinny kid was still Ben Grimm and that the biker gang that always caused trouble were from the infamous Yancy St. from the comics which felt like a nice touch to me. And the Brazilian actor that they picked up to voice the Thing - which sadly passed away a few years ago - just had this funny way to introduce quirks to the character that made me laugh out loud as a kid! Yeah, it was silly but I have fond memories of it. 😄

The Byrne run of the FF was every bit as legendary as the original Kirby run. I loved how he actually took the thing back to his monster form at one point. Byrne has always been a massive Kirby fan, and i believe getting the FF was a dream come true for him. As to Joe Sinnott, his brush work is bar none. You can tell it’s his inking no matter who does the pencils. The work he did with Kieth Pollard, prior to byrne’s original run is awesome. My favorite story arc was the issues when the Skrulls put them on trial, and hit them all, sans Johnny, with an aging ray… they are on borrowed time as they join forces with Galactus to stop the Sphinx, who has gone mad with power. It introduced Terrax, reintroduced the super skrull, and even uses the watcher in an interesting manner. Great arc!

My favourite mutant was, and still is, Toad. But I hate how they changed his design. He was always a bulky human with some toad-like facial qualities, and he always looked cool, until now. They made him this ugly scrawny green knock off of Nightcrawler with dreadlocks. I hate it so much. Bring back classic Toad, or at least that cute version where he was the janitor at the school for gifted children.
