I'm going to leave this message here for everyone to have a clear understanding, the CZcamsr / salesman has the car mixed up. He also has the title of this video mixed up. he might be click-baiting for views I don't know but this is the CT4 V blackwing with the 3.0L (V6 Twin Turbo) pushing out 370 HP. The car he has everyone thinking it is, is a CT5 V Blackwing which features a 6.2L Supercharged LT4 engine the same as the Camaro ZL1. I hope anyone reading this has a clear understanding in the differences now, both are V. But different engines.
Well, did you end up getting it?
No i didnt infortunately.
Was this Porsche Livermore? Haha, I recognize the back road
yessir! it was!
Thank you Elvin, I guess you and I are the only two people that notices that tab tachometer, runs out at 4000 right now and none of these people in this car can I wonder why it’s red after 4000 RPM about it all the other features while he’s destroying this engine that’s not even broken in!! If he doesn’t buy that car, this guy should be fired for doing that to the car ! There’s a reason why the break in period of this car is 500 Miles, and in my opinion, or should be changed immediately after like I did with my Blackwing .
Wonderful!!!!
I have analog gauges. What option is digital dash on the CT5 V?
I think it is standard on the V starting in 2021. But I'm going off of other reviews I've watched, not off of official sources.
@@jsfbay1 I have a 2023 sport CT5 V analog display.
Nice test drive, was the color Copper Ruby?
Yes it was! Very nice color in the sun!
@@DaMaster25 thanks! I think that’s the color I’m going to go with. Should be fairly rare (at least for now).
You can only use the controller for the massage seating so that you’d keep your eyes on the road and not the screen while adjusting. The screen shows you what you’re controlling but you must use the knob on the seat. It’s a *safety* thing.
Is there an Episode 1? Really enjoyed this…
Unfortately this is the only episode. Im hoping to make more now that the holidays are over!
4K is redline for a reason. Should wait until engine passes 500 miles. Then it'll change to 6.5K redline.
Macan all the way, have had mine for 9 mths and love it! Did he switch to sport plus? Also put stabilization off or in sport. Sport plus will lower the car with the Air-suspension, so it handles the best! And the sport and sport plus modes automatically kick in sports exhaust! Sport plus mode you also get backfire noises!
You can hear the turbo charger? It's supercharged.
Its twin turbo charged!
The Blackwing is supercharged. The "V" is the 3.0l twin turbo V6. In the "old days" V meant V8.
How is the leg room? I'm 6'2" and most cars don't have enough leg room.
Im not that tall but I think it may be a little tight for you, but its so worth driving for yourself!!
I'm 6'3 and had to actually move the seat up a little when I test drove. Plenty of leg and head room.
Nice gearing
Nice caddy!! I got the 22 same everything have had it for 6 months. Definitely a head turning for sure
Can you get electric blue for ct5 v series or just black wing?
The Blackwing is also a CT5-V Series. You can get Electric Blue on the non-Blackwing CT5-V.
That sales person must have just started that day. "open up the cylinders"
"Fastest production SUV in the world, on the Nürburgring Track" No. It's not even close. The fastest would go to Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. This comes in at #5/10 on the Nürburgring Track. Dude was either lying or doesn't know his shit. Either way he's straight up wrong.
Thanks for the reply. I actually had to look this one up. There are actually 4 SUV classes according to Car and Driver. They are Compact Crossover, Crossover, Mid-size, and Full-size. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT went around the Nürburgring in 7minutes and 34 second in 2021 and its considered a Mid-Size SUV. The Alfa Romeo Stevlio went around the Nürburgring in 7minutes and 51seconds. The Stelvio is considered a Compact luxury crossover therefor its not in the same SUV class at the Porsche. I do see on HotCars where it does reference the Selvio Quadrifoglio coming in #5/10 on the Nürburgring. Also, look at the price of the Cayenne Turbo GT ($188,700.00 Base) which puts out 631hp vs the Stevlio Quardrifoglio ($85,000 Base) which puts out 510hp. For the money the Stevlio is a much better deal.
@@DaMaster25 Well, I have seen both your Porsche GTS video and this one. I also test drove both as well. While the Alfa is a bit more dramatic, I chose to go with the 22 GTS due to its reliability and overall 'Porsche feel'. Just couldn't justify the Alfa over the Porsche.
@@capaldi328 I don't disagree with you. I think the Porsche Macan GTS was great to drive! For me, I dont think it was as exciting as the Stelvio. I hope you enjoy the Porsche!!
@@DaMaster25 You bought the Stelvio? Congrats!
@@capaldi328 I haven't gotten it yet. The new one will be sometime in December. I'll post some video's of that when i get it!
Definitely appreciate that you made this. Pretty much the exact sort of video I was looking for concerning the 2023 Macan GTS. For sure, it's not as raw as the Alpha, but it's better built and the dealer network is going to be there. My opinion and also from other vids I've seen where this car is pitted against the AR and the Mercedes GLC AMG on the track, it beat them by actual seconds. But yes - the general consensus I've been seeing is that it's very refined, but not dead or numb as far as road feedback. It's something you can easily live with on the daily, but still have a ton of fun with. I'm super curious to know what you thought - other than what I heard in the video.
Well for one, this did not have remote start and if you live some place where its cold then thats kind of a big deal. I thought that this was very refined and great to drive. It felt powerful and sounds very good. I think you are right that this is very well built and the dealer network is there. I think the interior is great along with the infotainment system. However, I like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio more. The Alfa was just much more fun to drive and hear. The driving and sound aspect made up for its flaw. I felt that the Porsche just didn't give me the same excitement. I have a video of me driving the Stelvio and I honestly liked the CT5-V better than driving this Porsche.
@@DaMaster25 Oh - well yes. The CT5-V is in a different class for sure. Probably not practical as a daily driver though I would suspect. I have to consider both - fun/fast/handling and practicality; I guess "both" wasn't the right word (LOL). I'm having a bit of analysis paralysis. The Macan GTS hopefully is fun for the long haul. I'll check out your vid with the Alpha. I was also considering the Audi RS5 sportback, but there are too many compromises with it compared to the Macan. It just seems like the Macan does A LOT of things well. I'm coming from a 2020 nicely optioned Ford F-250 diesel since we are done having to tow our entire life from gig to gig with travel nursing and have settled in the Bay Area at a hospital with dream jobs.
@@ziggy149 I currently own a 2022 Stelvio Ti (4cyl Turbo) and its great....but my wife said i could get a sports car, but i didn't want something unless i could fit the family. So we started looking at the Quadrifoglio, Porsche, Audi, and F-Pace SVR. I haven't driven the Jaguar, but that's a 5.0l V8 Supercharged. I would highly recommend the the Stelvio (4cyl Turbo...video coming soon) simply because they are nice, clean, stylish, and the interest rate they are offering is 1.9% on 72months. Since your in the Bay Area go see my buddy George at the San Jose Alfa Romeo (Autonation) and he can hook you up. Also check out the Maserati Levante Trofeo and the MC20 he has on the show room floor. Lastly, there is a dealer in LA (Russell Westbrook Alfa Romeo) offering killer deals on the Quadrifoglio.
@@DaMaster25 Interesting. I love it in the green for sure. The reliability factor would make me nervous. It sounds absolutely beautiful though. I have to imagine it’s simply beastly to experience in person
@@ziggy149 I feel in love with the power, speed, sound and feeling i got when i drove the quad. Videos dont do it justice!!! Check one out for yourself and im sure you will be posting back here it was AMAZING!!!
Got one on a boat right now, early December!!
Congratulations
The Cadillac CTS-V is one of my favorites.
Honestly I really loved driving this thing. It wasn't the V8 supercharged model but i still really enjoyed the drive, the pick up, and the interior!
@@DaMaster25 the blackwing is insane but the V is way more livable, let's face it, the blackwing is a track monster but 17.0 gallon tank with you hammering the gas getting like 8-10 mpg , the math isn't good, you ain't going far!
@@bobdolespen I think this one costs around 60k....This past weekend I saw the V model at the same dealership and it was 134k and a 50k markup....id rather have this one for the money!!
I have a 2023 Macan S and the exhaust makes way more pops and crackles than this GTS, maybe you were in the wrong setting.
Thanks for the Comment. I was in Sport Plus with the Exhaust open. I realized this was a brand new car and its not technically "broken in" yet and that's probably this doesn't sound like yours.
@@DaMaster25 pops and crackles appear only in "Sport", not in "Sport +".
@@supee7541 I would have thought it would have appeared in both modes honestly.
@@DaMaster25 German logic.
Entirely wrong, in Sports Plus, Sport exhaust makes more noise! It’s in the manual.
it might seem quiet instead , but from the back it is Hell unleashed!.
That salesperson was just there for the ride lmao
Now that’s how a salesperson sell a car no complaints about drive fast
Exhaust button opens up the cylinders more? Lmao I think he was nervous because that doesn’t make any sense
He hopefully meant to say valves
Great video.
Thanks for the viewing!!!!!
