That was: Nothing Outstanding, just two in the Good category, four just Adequate and investigation Requires Improvement Recording data about crime & responding to the public are both INADEQUATE? Why no updates on proposed performance improvements? The poster behind the Chief Constable says "Deliver an outstanding service" but none of the performance measures are in the Outstanding category. We helped our Muslim neighbors that had problems just outside the flats where we live and spoke up for them the police was very good they came round and asked me what I saw and I was able to help..

It’s a shame the other police stations that had been part of communities for many years have been shut down and sold off. Hove Police Station for one. An example of how Sussex Police and the PCC are failing the communities they serve.

It is always good to have independent people that have the powers to go into any police station and see what is going on and asked questions for all sorts of reasons.. Years ago there was such thing as the police watch committee which overlooked the police and what they was doing...

A lot of this low level crime is bad parenting and boredom. Some of the poorer young people don't have the money to go places and do things.. It's good that something is being done..

Unfortunately there is homelessness in Horsham,, winter is almost on our door step it would be nice if the police could speak to some of the churches to open their church halls up for the homeless... Leaving the homeless on the streets only makes more work for the police...

The police could do a really good turn if they could speak to some of the vicars and priest to open their church halls up for the homeless people as the winter is coming.... I would like to think that the police would take a Softly Softly approach towards the homeless people.. If I can say there seems to be too many homeless people being sent to prison I find that really sad...

It's a good idea as long as they're able to tell the difference between someone that has a disability or somebody that might be a shop lifter I went to a special needs school and have a nervous disability which I was born with which I take permanent medication for.... That's why the police made me a coordinator in the neighbourhood watch when me and Kevin lived in supported housing....

I think that Sussex police do try their best but sometimes some people are just ongoing troublemakers and it's difficult for the police to do their job and the police commissioner in this CZcams clips I think she's got a kind heart and she likes her job and I think she's also good at it.. Lol, for 3 years 2019 - 2022 police did nothing about violent drug-fueled neighbors on Sompting Road, Lancing. They witnessed the neighbors shouting death threats and were provided footage - and they they kept referring the issue to housing. Housing kept referring it back to police until Housing Ombudsman got involved. And just a month ago a PCSO refused to attend a violent incident 26 seconds away at Lancing COOP because "they would have to get involved" and they did not feel like getting involved. Sussex police has failed local community and Home Secretary dares to thank them for failing to do their job. Bravo!

I live 5 minutes away from the train station, and saw the council lads putting up the signs, whilst being watched by 3 separate groups of street drinkers, I've since seen drinkers there every day, both English and non-English, and a police car just drove past, this is still an intimidating area to walk through, especially for females, these signs were just another waste of tax payers money 🤬🤬
