I camp and fish at twit all the time and I drive just 3 hrs to get there . I give Twit a 5 Star . It's not a retirement park .

I think this is a great trailer, I plan on making a trip down to TN soon to take a tour of the factory.
My only regret is that we didn’t buy it sooner.
We use to camp there all the time, BUT when they installed the sodium vapor lights that stay on all night, we quit. Couldn't use our telescope or star gaze. found some other campgrounds around that let us see the stars. We are now happy campers.
We wouldn’t like the 5 pm check in either! We often travel to our spots so staying until 4 wouldn’t work because we’d be getting home really late.
I stayed in Missouri over the summer and some of the campgrounds were 6pm. Crazy….

Quality yes, but TOO SMALL living space!
You can please some of the people some of the time but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

We loved Maine and if was in our plans to go back one day and explore something other than Acadia.

What park in East and Middle TN would you recommend?
It depends on what kind of amenities you’re looking for. I prefer either the state parks, TVA, or Corp of Engineers. East TN doesn’t have COE, so I’d recommend TVA, either Douglas or Cherokee Dam grounds. For middle TN, any of the COE on J Percy Priest, is what I’d recommend.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my wife 4 years ago, and I can tell you, mourning takes its own time. Smitty will always be a part of you. I just got my Oliver a couple of months ago and have been traveling with my little pooch. Keep living, keep exploring and things will be brighter!

Unfortunately, we never camped in it. We decided to go with the Casita, and then realized it was too small. Unfortunately, Brian passed away before we could take delivery of his dream trailer, but I hope I’m doing him proud. Still lots to learn….
