I saw Tori perform this along with Smells Like Teen Spirit on the Little Earthquakes tour. It was in a small club and I was very close to the front. She was making lots of eye contact throughout the entire show. Needless to say, I fell head over heels in love with her that unforgettable day. By far one of the best performances I've seen in my life.
If I'm not mistaken this is from Montreux 1991 before her superstardom. Her first solo release Me and the Gun was released in October, this was filmed in July. She was here opening for Moody Blues.
It takes a lot of punch to play a CP80 Yamaha like Tori does, which is a testament to how important what she expresses is. His talent has no limits and we can only love her when hearing her play and sing. Wonderful artist.
Nobody could have performed this anyway wonderful song better! Plus, it expresses exactly the almost "magical" connection, which my - unfortunately - past wife and I had. Two people, who all the time had been grateful and thankful for having each other in a not so nice world...
She did release a studio EP called Crucify that had three covers (Thank You, Angie and Smells Like Teen Spirit) as well as different (better) versions of Crucify and Winter.
Of course it does but upon hearing this makes me appreciate her originality. She’s just a natural. There’s no denying Jones’ Hammond Organ work on this song…it’s so beautiful and as unique as a fingerprint. Unless you already know about it, please look up the Zeppelin live version from Montreaux 1970. He does an awesome intro on the B-3 organ.
Sheeeeit, LOL, claerly you haven't heard Zeppelin's "softer side" much, heh. May I recommend "The Rain Song," "Going to California," and "That's the Way," for starters. Enjoy! And yes, props to Tori for her gorgeous homage to this beauty!

Zep should just sign over the copyright for Thank you to Tori. It’s her song now.
Goosebumps. Nothing more to say.
To me, this song is the most powerful love song of a modern era. Tasteful covers really do it justice…
Simply beautiful♥️
She nearly made me forget myself 😢
Oh Jurgen we miss you.
Tori is beautiful anyway. But this confidence added to it. damn
Verry ❤ Good

I returned for more beauty
Same as below
Wonderful ❤
I absolutely adore how happy Tori looks while performing this song
Took me a little time until I realized it was a Zep cover. Love this cover. What can’t she do. She’s also so dam pretty.
Unique Tori. She should release an album with hers covers, because all this versions are hard to find.

<3
You know how Joe Cocker took With a Little Help From my Friends and made it his own? Tori has done the same here. Unreal.
"canned woman, i give you my all"
Cmon Anita, where are you ?
Such a spirited, true and open-hearted performance.
Goddess!!!💗💗💗💗💗
This is one of those videos that has been waiting for me without my knowing.
Missed out my favourite verse, but still loved it. One of my favourite Zep songs. As well as Thats the Way.
Wow!! Excellent!
Beautiful ❤️❤️
Beautiful
Exactly this performance is my all time favorite version of this song. The original is the male version, this one the female one.
Luiz Humberto, thank you for telling me to come here.
This is breathtaking ♥️🎵
Perfection. Perfected. Period.
Fark.......that's all I got.....
Doesn't this just show you how incredible Zeppelin were!
Absolutely they were amazing!

Just otherworldly
My Dear Catherine, if I had half a voice, I'd sing this to you. Thank you for loving "us".
This may sound crass, but.... Fucking incredible.
Rick Beato brought me here today...5-7-22
Me too
She takes this song and makes it sound like one of her own.
Demais
Kkkk nossasinhora
Anita....... Are you out there ?
How could such a bad ass rock band as Zeppelin write such a beautifull ballad type song as this ?...nicely covered Tori 😁

Because they are a gift from The God's
Go Listen to Ten Years Gone, REALLY listen, it will blow your mind.
Because they weren’t just heavy rock they write some beautiful songs…..
@@joescott8877 "The Battle of Evermore." "Hey Hey What Can I Do."
Toi Amos, well done. Plenty of expressive passages. And yes Rick Beato, lover of so much music, pointed you out. I thank you both
So thankful I had the chance to see Tori and her band in '98 at Seattle Center Colosseum.
Is she purposely getting the lyrics wrong? Otherwise it’s grest
I think Tori just does her own thing with covers :) x
Damn that was otherworldly
This woman I want to marry sent this to me. I love this song but not as much as I love her.
