Funny thing about the discord issue is that there is a right way of incorperating social media into a game. I can't say for sure, as I'm yet to play it. But I heard it from someone on Discord. In a fan game called Pokemon Xenoverse, there's a gym which requires you to use the leader's instagram page to get through it. There is an actual instagram page for it that you can use. But they made sure to make it also available in game! So even if/when instagram shuts down or the page gets taken down, at least you can still complete the gym without looking it up

I think it looks much more like an actual lion than it does loid is because it is an actual lion. Mollie was an actual bird (evidence by the red, and not black liquid) so I think loid is a lion.

Honestly, I think the one and only gripe I have with the game is that the mascots aren't scary. Everything else I don't mind given that it's the developer's second game ever, but seeing the transition from his BanBan redesigns to the monster versions of Mollie and Lloyd leaves a lot to be desired. I don't mind the cutsey look (I'm in mascot horror for the designs, not the actual horror-- I have horror movies to go to for that), but I do think that they could use some improvement. Either lean one way or the other, but it's hard to have a mix of both cute and creepy without falling into the trap of just looking plain boring. But all that aside, I'm super excited to see how the series turns out! Indigo Park is truly a labor of love like the original FNaF games, which in the era of mascot horror where the most popular games come from some sort of company (Bendy, Poppy Playtime) or are made as shameless cashgrabs (BanBan and too many others to count), it's refreshing to see something a bit rough around the edges, but that really has some heart in it. It's refreshing, and just plain lovely.

How meta, monster with a QR code for a head that can infect your real computer with actual malware. Doki doki eat your heart out.

I feel like Indigo park needs to create few things that would separate it from other mascot horrors, cause, I have to say, it reminded me of Poppy Playtime a little too much. It doesn't have to be big, but something new, like this idea of the main character actually reacting to things! I don't think that's something any mascot horror is doing right now. Imagine if the main character would have a little animation of dropping the flashlight when scared, and having to quickly pick it up again, it would add so much charm :D

Time to take notes of what not to do if i ever try my hand at such a thing :3

9:15 it's also worth noting that while you're fixing the rides there's signs saying "lloyd's limo's", then the lloyd collectable says they used to use lloyd more, and then when you go backstage there's a statue of lloyd in a similar pose as the rmbley fountian one. the theory i've seen is that the park used to be focused on lloyd but rambley kinda took over

Man IDK how I found your channel, Dusky, but hearing you mention a failed Mascot Horror series has a Dead by Daylight clone that died before it could even begin and knowing how the DBD community's absolutely rabid to have Springtrap in the game, this vid was a trip and a half.

I think my big gripe, next to what you mentioned, is that Mollie and Llyod look like they belong in two different games. Llyod, while rough, is still largely cartoony in design. While Mollie... looks like someone tried to model an actual bird with weird human proportions. Itd be nice if they all looked more like the defunct animatronics

One of the best part is that Rambley feels like an AI with programed in rules that he’s having to deal with. The best example of this would be him designating the player as a new employee so they can use the staff room without getting in trouble, especially that brief pause before he does so, showing that he’s processing the situation.

On the point of the game being good about not letting the player be stupid and go places that would softlock them, that's probably because the devs actually let people well known for breaking games playtest it! Backseat Gaming and David Baron both have videos about their experience doing that

4:26 i wanna point out that the way the character holds the flashlight is actually similaar to how most gaurds or security people hold it, according to google it means that you're less likely to get hit. 8:27 for some reason im feeling as though i must watch more of your videos for some totaly normal reason, surely 20:33 (big jump i know) you mean having the verbal directiosn NOT compliment the layout (this is a joke in reference to a part near the start of the game) 21:18 i also noticed that, i think the reason lloyd looks so off is more due to how smooth hiss blackout is, he could indeed do with more stylising and some more things that make him look less streamline this video was amazing, (so much better than theft king) and although you made some of the same connections as him that's to be expected, besides it's not like you were being disrespectful and saying "OH, THIS SECTION IS CLEARLY A RIP OFF OF DOG DAYS FROM POPPY PLAYTIME" you did some actual research and thought about things before saying what you believe could be better overall this was an amazing video, im so glad you came onto my fyp and im totaly subscribing out of my free will and NOT because of some sort of evil potion to make me watch your videos, keep up the good work!
